"don't you think it's a bit weird?" parker commented on my story that I told him earlier.

"how do you say so?"

parker shrugged, "think about it. raine replied to you, not her. don't you find it suspicious?"

"no, i don't." i shook my head. "i think she's straying away from the internet. or she's too annoyed with me..." i trailed off.

"is there something wrong with me?" i asked, insecure.

parker removed his eyes on his phone and looked at me, up and down and said, "you're fine, stop doubting yourself. if you feel bad, you could go back to korea."

i scoffed. "as if that was easy."

"it is easy," he emphasized the 'it is'. "it's just your guilt that was stopping you from doing so."

i sighed and plopped myself down to sofa. "i feel like i don't deserve to be on the same land as her. i don't even deserve breathing the same air as her. i feel like i don't deserve anything."

"you had many chances before. you just wasted it."

"i know. i didn't even fulfilled my job as her bestfriend, at least."

"but that doesn't mean you can't say sorry to her in person. i mean, the word 'sorry' existed for a reason, right? and it is more sincere when you say sorry in person."

i looked up at him, "you think so?"

"yes, so start packing because i booked your flight to south korea. it's 6 hours from now."

i stood up in shock. "are you serious?"

he nodded then showed me his phone. it really booked me with my name.

"you cunning man!" i hurried to get my baggage and started putting my clothes.

"oh, and i used your card!"

"how dare you but thanks!"
