3rd person's POV

Having caught the knight bus on time, harry hermione and Ron were walking towards the 9 3/4 station. Although all the students could apparate the 8th years were requested to travel though the Hogwarts express. All were wearing decent muggle clothes; harry having become a little muscular over summer was still really thin, hermione was probably the most beautiful girl there; her hair were now cut into a neat bob cut and was straightened and Ron was tall a little more than 2 inches taller than harry (A/N: And yes harry and Draco are the same height but Ron and blaise are a little taller) but still the same freckled red head. They all were wearing ripped jeans and hoodies. Draco was wearing skinny jeans and a white t-shirt and a long overcoat above.

There were girls swooning all over harry and Ron and surprisingly even Draco that was until they saw who it was, then they ran and didn't look back. Draco being probably the hottest guy there was so changed that it was ... dramatic (A/N: duh.) his platinum blond hair were all over he was as tall as ever but his pointy face didn't look pointy anymore probably because his hair wasn't glued to his hear anymore. His long cloak swooshed in a way that Snape was probably proud of as he boarded the train. They all sat in different boxes; harry neville, Ron, Hermione and Harry sat in one compartment later to be joined by Luna who unsurprisingly hadn't changed at all. Draco, pansy, theo and blaise sat together.

Reaching hogwarts they all got out of the train only to bump into each other. Harry and Draco's first and natural reaction would have been to apologise but that was if their lips hadn't brushed, even if it was for a millisecond. They both stood frozen terrified of what just happen. Draco gulped and turned away walking toward the carriages.

Draco~

That was.... weird, weird but...it was weird...yeah only weird. Okay that was awkward as hell. Draco couldn't imagine how he'd take all of those classes with potter and what if the spread rumors about draco what if...
"Dray?" Said pansy "are you alright?".
Yeah yeah I'm fine it's nothing just...nvm let's get to the carriages and find an empty one." Said draco quickening his pace.

Harry~

Woah what just happened. Was that Malfoy? He looked....better? Harry couldn't describe what he felt the other boy looked like was it... handsome or hot? Why did harry just think that and also about bloody Malfoy."Yeah run away you little death eater scum!" Ron's voice pulled harry out of his thoughts. "You alright mate?"asked ron "Yeah yeah in fine c'mon let's go"said harry unsure what just happened.

3rd person~

They all made there way to the carriages. This time almost the whole school could see the thestrals. There was panic in the air because so many new students could see the magneficent creatures. Harry quietly got in the carriage. Hermione and Ron on the other hand were gawking at the thestrals but seeing harry was used to it quietly got in the carriage as well. This was the first time as long as harry could remember that they three sat alone in the carriage. The journey to the castle was quiet only the plitter platter of the gentle rain could be heard.

Reaching the castle Harry got out followed by Hermione and Ron. As they made their way too the castle they all heard a rumbling noise."I think that was my stomach." Said ron. Harry laughed and Hermione said "Honestly Ronald," but you could see a small smile tugging at her lips.

Draco had been quiet the while journey to the castle. He was thinking. He didn't know what exactly it was that he was thinking but he was.

As they got out of the carriage the headed to the castle. Draco could see all the repairs he had helped in. A sudden proud feeling washed over him as he walked inside. It looked the same as before. And he knew other children like himself were glad that it was the same because the needed some reassurance that things would go back to how it was, though deep down draco knew that would never happen.
