Lauren's POV:
When I wake up the next morning Camila is still sleeping soundly in the bed wrapped up tightly in my arms. I smile slightly with a nervous pit in my stomach as I lean over to double check that she is still asleep. I press a soft kiss into the crook of her neck before untangling my arms and legs from hers and rolling out of the bed onto my feet.
I creep quietly over to my bag of clothes, pulling out some sweatpants I brought to change into for the drive home and plain navy blue t-shirt and silently walk into the bathroom to get dressed and freshened up.
When I walk back out, Camila is still sleeping soundly and I note that it's almost 9am. I know we have until 11am until we need to check out so I decide to let her sleep for a little while longer as I slide my shoes on and head out of the hotel room.
I let out a breath of relief the second I walk outside into the fresh morning air. I need a moment to collect my bearings and to reflect on what happened last night.
I slept with Camila.
I slept with Camila more than once.
I slept with Camila three times to be exact.
I smile slightly as my mind flashes back to the night before. It really was nothing short of amazing. Camila is still as beautiful and fun and naughty as she was four years ago.
I run my hand through my messy hair as I start to walk down the street towards the coffee shop I saw yesterday on our way to the hotel. If there is another thing about Camila that I'm sure hasn't changed in the last four years, it will be her need for caffeine in the mornings.
I try not to think about what last night means for our relationship. It was a huge step, and part of me is questioning whether or not this has happened too soon. We still have a lot to discuss and there are a lot of problems to overcome.
We have four years of our lives to catch up on. Plus, there is also the little issue of Camila's ex-boyfriend that has been playing a little bit in the back of my mind. When I told her I didn't blame her for moving on, I really wasn't lying. I still don't blame her. I'm actually kind of relieved that she somehow managed to create a life for herself. However I still want to know what it meant with Liam. I want to know how she felt about him and how much she felt for him.
I shake my head and my brush those thoughts away as I walk inside the café. Again that's another problem for another day. I've learned a lot in our time apart, and that was to live in the here and now.
I order us two coffees, praying that Camila still drinks lattes before I make the short walk back to the hotel. When I get back up to our room, Camila is still fast asleep and I smile, placing my cup on the bedside table before walking to her side of the bed and bending down.
"Camila," I whisper softly but she doesn't stir. "Camila," I speak louder this time, moving the coffee cup closer to her nose. "Camila..." my voice rises and I smirk as she starts to stir. I watch as she slowly wakes up, her nose twitching in a cute manner before her eyes flutter and her shoulders roll.
