Princeton's POV:

~ so we rode in the car on our way to the hospital where PJ was born. The nurses should remember who she was and who her mother was. We soon arrived at the hospital because it was only 10 minutes away PJ was born in LA so it should be easy to find her mom. We walked inside and quickly approaching the receptionist~

PJ: hi I'd like to look at a birth record
Receptionist: ok sure. When?
PJ: January 14th, 1998 at 1:45 pm
Receptionist: Name please?
PJ: Palesa-Marie Daniels
Receptionist: *pulls out record* yes. Here she is *shows record* I remember that girl because I was there when she was born.
PJ: Do u remember her mom?
Receptionist: yes. She was very young. 15 years old when she came to have her baby. She would be 30 no
PJ: ok. Do u know where I could find her?
Receptionist: here’s her address. I’m not sure where the baby is because she gave her up for adoption
PJ: thank u *starts to leave*
Receptionist: excuse me miss but can u explain why u needed this information?
PJ: *turns around* because I’m that baby. And that girl is my mom
Receptionist: good luck honey
PJ: thanks *leaves*
~Outside~
Me: so what now?
P/M: we go look 4 her
Dwayne: PJ, lemme see the address
PJ: *hands address*
Dwayne: *looks it over* I kno where this is. It’s in a very rough neighborhood. We all need to go home and change into something even more casual
P/M: what’s wrong w/ wat we’re wearing?
PJ: mom, we could get jumped
P/M: oh ok
~Mika’s House~
Mika: *opens door*
Roc: hey
Mika: hey *pulls him inside*
Roc: u wanted 2 tlk?
Mika: yea. I heard from Alexus tht u went to her house and tried to get w/ her. Is tht true?
Roc: baby of course not. I would never try something like that
Mika: just making sure *Still has her doubts*
Roc: I love u and only u ok?
Mika: ok *kno’s he’s lying. Plotting revenge*

~Me and Ray Ray went to the conjunction house to change into basketball shorts, converse and t-shirts. We tried to dress in very casual clothes so that we wouldn’t attract attention. I left my sunglasses on my bed and planned to leave my iPhone w/ PJ at her house. PJ said they’d take the Toyota Camery they used whenever they went to the rough part of town. When we pulled up, people hangin outside and around the house quickly turned their attention 2 us. So much for attracting attention~

Random Girl: ‘sup
PJ: ‘sup. U kno who be livin here?
Girl: her name be Palesa but we call her Skittlez. It’s her street name. U kno her?
PJ: yea. I seen her around da neighborhood
Girl: oh. Cool cool *goes inside* AYE YO SKITTLEZ. DER SOME PPL HERE. SY THEY WANNA TLK
Skittlez: *walks out* Uh hi. Wassup?
PJ: nm. This Pinceton, Ray, Arrianna and Da-wayne *tlks extra ghetto*
Us: sup
Skittlez: ‘sup. So y u here?
PJ: well, im trynna find some1 named Palesa-Marie Daniels. U kno her?
Skittlez: yea. Tht would be me. Y u ask
PJ: well ik she had a daughter 15 years ago and she was uh trynna find her mom
Skittlez: yea dats true. I done had a daughter 15 yrs ago over at uh, Fireside Hospital. She was the most beautiful baby ever. But I had to give her up to protect her from all this. It broke my heart to do tht but it was 4 her own good. U kno her?
PJ: actually Skitlez, that baby is me?
Skittlez: *looks serious then laughs* U got to be kiddin me. Ppl be tryin 2 pull tht all the ime
PJ: *takes off hoodie and shows birthmark on neck. Flips arm and shows other birthmark* now do u believe me?
Skittlez: *runs and hugs her. Baby girl, is it really u?
PJ: yes mom

~After 15 minutes, PJ explained what she’d been up to for the past 15 yrs and Skittlez told us what happened up to that point~

P/M: u ever need anything skittlez, u give us a call u hear?
Skittlez: yes
PJ: this is my cell phone, and my parents cell phone’s. Don’t u ever forget me
Skittlez: PJ, I never forgot about u. I searched for u every day and never gave up. I knew this day would come
PJ: I love u, mom *tears up*
Skittlez: I love u too, hun. Now u guys best be leavin b4 yo car gets stolen
Dwayne: well it was nice meeting u
Skittlez: u too *whispers to PJ* and whatever u do, don’t end up pregnant like I did w/ 1 of these boys, ya hear?
PJ: yes ma’am
Skittlez: take good care of her
Me and Ray: we will
Us: *leave*
~In the car~

P/M: I’m glad u found ur real mom PJ
PJ: me too. Thanks 4 helping me
