"Come here you little brat" Alex yelled at me. He grabbed my left arm as I try to run away. With a strong grip of his hand around my arm, I can't get away. "Why would they do this to me" is the only thing I can think of. Before I can do anything, I felt his hand, punching me in my face. "You can't run away from me anymore" he yell again.
I screamed, screamed for help knowing there was nobody who was gonna help me.

Backstory:
Claire Emilia Lightwood is a 18 year old girl. Born in a little village on the east side of Valencia. Until the age of seven, her parents loved her with all they've had.
On a Monday morning her whole life changed. Both of her parents died in an accident. They only thing Claire had left was a small house, because she couldn't live alone she was forced to go to another family.
After a year of bad luck, she finally received a letter.
In a beautiful envelope with golden letters, sealed with a red stamp.
She was adopted by the king and queen of Valencia.
A month later, she moved in with her new family in a ginormous castle and became Princess Claire Emilia Lightwood.
For a brief moment she taught she had a change to have a family again, someone to care for her and someone who will love her.
Although she knew very soon that being a princess wouldn't be easy, she couldn't have know that her life was about to change in a way no one would wish for.
