danger

Loud heels echoed through the crystal-clean white room. With a swift move, the figure whose heels belonged to pushed the door open to reveal a crowded hallway.

The male walked slowly towards the lobby of the building he was in. On his way there he often heard mutters and even giggles from the people around him.

"He's so handsome!"

"His dark eyes are deeper than the ocean!"

The corners of his lips perked up as he glanced at the lady in front of him.
“Hyuna could you please tell me one more time, when does the boy you were telling me about come?”

Hyuna smiled at the male as she took a sticky note from her desk. She slowly read through the note before talking.
“In exactly one hour Mr Choi.” she paused thinking her next words thoroughly “You seem pretty impatient” she teased her boss and then turned back to the computer in front of her.

She slid her slim fingers across the keyboard with a concentrated look on her face. The male watched Hyuna for a few moments before smiling once again “I've worked without an assistant for too long, work keeps piling up.” he stated turning around and walking away. It was the start of a good day.

He drank his dark coffee at home, almost finished signing all the papers due today and he was potentially going to get a secretary that was going to do all of this for him.

"Potentially" because he is a very picky person when it comes to hiring new staff, he double checks every fact written in their resume and even goes as far as to ask one of his most trusted men to do a background check on them.

He was the son of the biggest mafia after all, anyone could be a spy sent to gather important information. His name was Choi San, a young bachelor that finished business university a year ago. Everyone was head over heels for him yet, he couldn't care less.

Just as soon as San got to his office his smiley face dropped and he went back to his usual facial expression, stoic. San took a seat at his big messy desk before he went back to work. He didn't even shift in his seat when someone literally barged in without knocking. The person that stopped walking only when they were right in front of his desk started talking without losing a second.

“Mr Choi we have a pr-” the poor man didn't even finish his sentence being stopped by the sudden icy glance from his boss. It was such a threatening glance that it could start a snowstorm right then and there.

“Learn how to knock.” he threw the man under the bus with his cold tone. The problem couldn't be more important than basic manners.

He watched the man bow with a bored stare before he shifted his attention back to his computer.
“Talk.” San simply said not even bothering to look up to the man once again.

“Mr Choi, the drug dealer we were in contact with a few days ago suddenly disappeared. He doesn't answer my calls and seems to have ran away from the country..what sho-”

“I think that is pretty easy to guess. Use your brain for a few moments, will you?find him.”

“But-”
