The Story of Kambrea Jinn

The Battle over Coruscant

Anakin Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi, Lykka Kenobi, and Kambrea Jinn walked into an unguarded great hall that showed a view of the battle over Coruscant. The chancellor was tied up. The young padawans were about to free him when Chancellor Palpatine called attention to the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus. "Count Dooku." his voice was expressionless and calm. The Sith Lord was accompanied by six security droids. Padawans Kambrea and Lykka armed themselves, but were stopped by their masters. To Kambrea, he looked menacing, and she realized right away that he was not a Jedi just by his aura.

"This time we fight together Anakin. And you, Dooku, do not escape this time". Kambrea was thrilled by the strong bond between her master and his previous student. Obi-wan knew it would be dangerous for thier students, but they too had to gain their experience, and he had trained his second Padawan well."I was about to say the same thing," Anakin sounded a bit amused after the memory of the last battle came to his mind.

The young Jedi took up their fighting positions and scanned the hall with their eyes. Lykka glanced at some scrap metal she could use with the help of the Force. Kambrea looked around and discovered excellent ways to protect herself from the security droids' gunfire. The console for locking the room offered her optimal protection and a panoramic view of the hall. Anakin couldn't help it and provoked Darth Tyranus.

"Let your padawans help you. He is a Sith Lord, you cannot defeat him.", the worry of losing the duo of the best Jedi par excellence rose in Palpatine, but he was well aware of his decision and his plan would not go wrong. "Chancellor Palpatine, Sith Lords are our specialty and our Padawans are well-trained as well," Obi-wan let out in a relaxed manner. Kambrea was fascinated by her master's composure and admired him for it. "Your swords, please. We don't want to cause a bloodbath in the presence of the Chancellor and your charges, do we?" the Sith Lord asked calmly. "My powers have doubled since we last met, Count," Anakin sneered arrogantly. "Pride, my boy, comes before a fall," Count Dooku warned.

The lightsabers clashed together, emitting hissing sounds. The Padawans pursued the security droids. They shot blaster beams, which the young Jedi deflected with their lightsabers. Lykka apparently studied the room and threw some scrap metal at Dooku, who destroyed it in a controlled manner with his lightsaber. Kambrea concentrated hard and took advantage of every moment, she had never had to fight a Sith Lord before and was more than impressed with his balance and condition to take on two Jedi at once. Apparently the Force inhibited the aging process, because the Count was very limber for his age. Kambrea was a well-oiled team with Lykka. They complemented each other in every fighting position, providing each other with cover and saving the other from dangerous situations.

They were trained together by one of the best duos in the galaxy. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-wan Kenobi. Kambrea originally wanted to be the apprentice of her grandfather, Qui-gon, however the Council would not have approved, and he was unfortunately killed when Kambrea was just five years old. Lykka was taught by Obi-wan's first Padawan, Anakin, and so it was that the brown-haired granddaughter of Qui-gon Jinn befriended the daughter of Obi-wan Kenobi. Lost in thought during the battle, Kambrea was brought back by a loud bang. Lykka, too, looked around after cutting up another droid. Obi-wan lay pinned under a barrier, unconscious.

"Help Master Skywalker, I can take out the last of the junk droids by myself, then I'll check on Master Kenobi," Kambrea instructed her friend, destroying another battle droid. "Be careful Kami!" was shouted at her before Lykka made her way to her teacher. Kambrea skillfully blocked the blaster shots, but she didn't have all the droids in sight at once, so one shot grazed her arm, which really hurt, but she managed the last two droids with ease. Lykka and her master, Anakin, were already further away from her with Dooku. The fear rose in her that they could also be hurt.
