So now they were on their way to Utapau to hunt down Grievous. Kambrea should feel honored and happy, but she didn't, she was sad and worried about Lykka. To oppose the council would have been fatal, and she didn't want to leave her master and Rex alone. The Padawan didn't notice that a certain clone commander was watching her and sat down with her. "Hey Kid you look distressed are you ok?" she was asked by Cody. "Oh hello Cody well yes it" she briefly considered telling him "It's because of Lykka" she finished the sentence. "You guys are ok aren't you?" he asked in wonder.

"Well not really, she's been acting so weird since we got back from the last mission". "Weird how?", Cody wanted to know "It's hard to explain you know, we're connected through the Force I can feel she's shattered and scared" the Padawan replied worriedly. "Afraid? But of what?" "Of not being strong enough, and not being important enough, and besides, she hasn't spoken to Master Kenobi in days." The clone could tell this worried her. "She probably doesn't want you to see her weaknesses and is insecure" he guessed. "Hmm that actually sounds pretty reasonable" Kami replied somewhat hopeful. "But Kami you shouldn't worry too much just try to calm down".

Completely unexpected on the part of the clone, Kami pulled him into a brief hug "Thank you, Cody talking to someone about this has really calmed me down." She felt relieved and definitely much better than before. "No biggie, if you ever need someone to talk to again, I'm always here to listen". The hug was broken up shortly after "I'll go discuss the plan with Master Kenobi then you should start getting ready". The General had been watching the whole thing from a safe distance and wondered if Cody was right, if so he wasn't even aware of the emotional coldness he was showing towards his daughter.

Before she left with the general, however, she wanted to look for Rex. After all, she wanted to congratulate him on his promotion. After a few minutes she found him. He was completely in soldier mode and didn't notice the Jedi when she entered the room. Right now he was explaining the rough plan to his brothers from the 501st. While doing so, he wore his armor and had his trusty DC-17 hand blasters with him. "Commander Jinn, sir it's good to see you" he greeted her. Of course, no one could know that the two were together, so they put on their formal masks. The other lower ranking clones saluted the Jedi "Congratulations Captain on your promotion, you have earned it". Kambrea smiled as she said this and Rex couldn't help but smile as well "Thank you Commander".

"So what is the plan" the Padawan inquired. "General Kenobi has suggested that you both scout first and then call us when you find what we are looking for" Rex explained. A good plan, Kami thought, so they would hardly draw attention to themselves "sounds good". Now the Jedi turned to the other clones "I'm sure we have a very good chance to finally put an end to this war, for the Republic". "For the Republic" echoed the clones. Amazing how Kami always found the right words to motivate, Rex thought. He had already lost so many of his brothers and it often caused him nightmares.

Immediately Kami made her way to Obi-wan who asked, "You talked to Rex, what did you do?" Kami didn't know if she should tell him about Rex, so she just said "discussed battle strategies. Rex and I are supposed to take command of the 501st company Anakin gave us anyway, so don't worry, the mission will go like clockwork," she said, jumping into her starfighter, "are you coming or are you going to settle here?" This girl was clearly spending too much time with Rex, the general thought with a smirk and jumped into his starfighter as well. They flew the starfighters to the planet to scout it out and were greeted by an ambassador from the resident species who gave them the information they needed, that Grievous was on level 10.
