The Second Element : Water

Ikor was gazing at the gift from his new friend as they were riding the hyperbeasts to the relm between the fire and Ice ." What is that ?" Asked Riff . "Nothing ." He said hiding it . "It looks like something is making you sad , is everything ok?" Asked Riff . "Father could've been proud ." He said . "I am sorry , I shouldn't have asked ." Said Riff feeling bad for remembering that he is the one who killed his father.  They arrived to a river . "I think the fastest way to get there is to sail the river ." Said Aoki looking at the map . They had no idea what to use ." I think my father used to have a boat . I will go check it out ." Said Ikor . He went to the castle and with a flash , he returned with a boat behind him ." All aboard ."he said climbing the boat . They climbed it and sailed . "We should be there at sunset ." Said Eron . An hour later ,  a storm approached , It was really windy . They sailed a bit faster so it was on their side . Ikor was once again looking at the bracelet from Ivy . He looked at his arm which was still bleeding but a little slower . "This scar will leave a good memory ." He thought . The wind blew hard . "Ikor ! Move the sail !" Shouted Trek . Ikor was in charge of the sail of the boat . He moved it where the river was curved to . The wind blew in another direction . The bracelet flew from his hand. " No !" He said looking at it flying in the distance . "You don't look fine Ikor , What is wrong ?" Asked Aoki . "Please don't tell anyone, Ivy gave me a gift but it flew away ." He said with a very low voice . "Okay I won't , I bet she wants to see you again ." She said . "I want to see her too " he said . Aoki gave a smile . "We are almost there . Cheer up we will go back there some day ." She said .they got to the X mark . It was a lake . "Looks like it is underwater ." Said Eron ." No ! I almost drowned hours ago , I don't want that to happen again !" Said Riff . I'll help said Eron with his power he formed an air bubble around everyone's heads . "Now you can all breath ." He said . Then everyone dived in . Riff wasn't able to swim . He flapped his arms to try and move but he was sinking deeper . He started screaming . Trek and Eron tried to show him how to move his arms and legs . He was getting better but still afraid to leave the boys . Soon they saw a fish as big as them . It wasn't a fish . It was a mermaid ! "Wow" said Aoki . "Hi , I am gloom ." Said the mermaid girl . She had short blue hair and a dark blue tail . "Hi " said Eron . A Teen mermaid boy with a crown on his head looked at them with anger . "Guards ! Get them !"  He said then guards swam to them and caught them . "By an order of the princess let them go !" Said gloom . They didn't listen . Riff was too afraid the bubble of air was popped by a guard . He let out a very big fire explosion . He burned some water around him and the guards hands .The guards took him again . "Brother , let them go , I was just saying hi !" Said gloom to the teen mermaid . "They might hurt you ." He said . " Daniel ! You are being over protective , just leave them ." She said . He ordered the guards to let them go . Eron made another bubble . "Thanks Eron ." Said Riff after taking his breath ." Riff how did you do that ?" Asked Trek. "Do what ?" Said Riff confused . " That big fire explosion.  It was so powerful that it was effective underwater ." Said Ikor . " I let all my power out , it happens automatically when you feel it is a matter of life or death ." Said Riff . "Ikor , your hand is bleeding really badly , why didn't you bandage it ?" Asked Aoki . His blood was flowing with the water around ." I had no bandage , I forgot to bring some ." He said . "Who are you ?" Asked Daniel . "We are the heralds of Gorm . We have heard of elements other than the main four and we came to see if it was true ." Said Trek . " Is there a jem that locks you in ? " Asked Eron . " This is the protection of the sea , any war could happen any time." He said . " No war happened since.... " Said Aoki then she stopped remembering the war that happened the day before . " Since 15 years ." She continued . "Why do you need it anyway ?" Asked Daniel . "There is a chance this jem could make one of your people a herald ."  Said Riff . "You will return it if it didn't work ." He said pulling his crown away from his head . He pulled out the middle jem and handed it to Trek  . " Dan , can I go out to the surface ?" Asked Gloom . "Of course not !" He said . "She will be fine with us ." Said Trek . "C'mon , it will be my first time to see what it is like above water ." She convinced her brother . "Fine , but don't get too far , and don't talk to strangers ." He said . "Okay " she said and they all swam up to the surface . They all got to the ship . Trek helped Gloom to get on the ship . Her tail transformed into feet . She wore a little blue skirt . "Wow !" Riff said surprised . " I never knew I can !" She said . Trek helped her stand up . She stumbled but managed to stand without falling . "Great , now try taking a step forward ." Said Trek going backwards to leave her space. She stepped 2 steps before stumbling across her feet . She was about to fall face to the (ship ) ground when Trek caught her . "Careful . Everyone took months to learn ." He said . "Thanks.  I gotta go . "Daniel will get worried . Bye ." She said and dived in the water her legs transformed into her tail again . "She was nice ." Said Trek . Ikor stood beside him , knowing what he feels . Ikor started breathing heavily , and suddenly fell unconscious . "Ikor !" Shouted Riff noticing before Trek . They all gathered around him . "He was bleeding a lot , that is too much for him !" Said Aoki . "We have no bandages ." Said Eron look in the bags . Riff took his bag and looked in it . He found his favorite cotton t-shirt . He gave a sigh and took it out , tore it into a long strip and tied it around Ikor's arm . "Great thinking Riff ." Said Aoki . "This is one part of the problem , now how will he breath ." Said Riff . "Breath ?" Asked Eron . "Where were you when Ikor taught us that?... Blood transport oxygen to the body parts ." Said Trek . "Let's sail on , we might find a doctor soon ." Suggested Aoki . They tried to sail but couldn't make it far without Ikor , because he was the only one that knew how to control the sail . They got stuck . Nothing moving them other than the river's current . "What are we gonna do now ?" Asked Trek . "My shirt won't make it for long ." Said Riff looking at Ikor's arm . "I will leave you for now to find someone that could help . Said Aoki . She rode her flying platform and flew away . A while later , the current started flowing faster . "Oh no !OH NO! We don't really know how to sail ! " Said Riff . "Calm down it is just the current , we will get to our next destination faster . " Said Trek positively.  "But what if we needed to move the boat? The current is too strong for the boat to stay strait it will start rotating . " Argued Eron . "Ikor is not doing fine. " Said Riff looking at him just laying on the deck moving with the boat . His hand was still bleeding and it was dripping out of the shirt . "I don't want Ikor to end this way ." Said Eron hugging him . The boat started rocking hard as a storm approached . The faces of the 3 poor guys paled as they saw the storm  and the end of the river to an open sea . "WE ARE DOOMED !" Shouted Riff pointing to what was left of the river , It was rocky and shallow . " Not yet ." Said Trek with a serious look on his face . He went to the edge of the boat and jumped of.  "TREk !" Shouted Eron and Riff . He looked down to see him jumping on  rocks that he controlled . " I will try to move these rocks , Eron , try slowing the boat and you Riff , hold on to ikor and never let go ." He said .Trek tried to jump as fast as he could to get to the rocks to move them.  Eron flew to the front of the boat and tried to blow it with what he can . Riff carried Ikor and held on to the pole where the sail was . Trek was almost there, and the boat was going a little slower  . The plan was working ! Suddenly ,Trek slipped and fell in the river . " Eron , go help Trek he fell !" Shouted Riff . He let go of the boat and flew as fast as a plane to help him.  The boat rotated a lot , and was headed directly to the rocks. Riff took his bag and put his bracer in it . He put it on Ikor's back and went to the side of the boat.  It was really close to the land . He threw Ikor to the safe land . He got relived that he saved hi friends.  Then the boat crashed into the rocks leaving an explosion of dust behind . Eron saved Trek ,  then they were trying to catch up with the boat . "We are too late " whispered Eron with horror . "We just l-l-lost them ." Said Trek trembling . Then they stood on the land beside the river . "Look ! It's Ikor !" Said Eron noticing him on the other side.  "But Riff is not here ." Said Trek bursting into tears . Just then they saw in the dust a little glow . It was Riff ! Flying above the shipwreck . He wasn't flying straight , he was wobbling around like he was having a hard time flying . He saw the guys and landed there . Trek immediately hugged him . "I thought you died ." He said ."I thought I would die too ." Said Riff . "Your head , it's bleeding ." Said Eron . " Some parts of the shipwreck hit me . " He said then fell to the floor . " That was terrifying , my heart is beating like crazy , I can't even stand !" He said . "How did Ikor get here ?" Asked Eron . "I threw him here when the boat was at the right position . I could've flown away and left him but I'd rather die ." He said . Aoki came after some time ." I got a doctor  ... What happened ? Where is the boat ? Did I miss something ?" She asked . "Oh you missed quite a LOT !" Said Eron . The doctor was from the grass relm . "I am rose , Ivy's Sister . I heard you need help so I came right away ." She said examining Ikor . "I am sorry I took long . No one accepted helping for free , so I went to Ivy and told her , then she said that her sister was a doctor ." Said Aoki . " I have heard from Ivy that he saved her life . I want to save his . She is the most precious person I know ." Said Dr. Rose . She had a needle in her first aid bag . She put it in his arm and he woke up instantly . "Wha- where - how long have I been unconscious ?" Asked Ikor . "An hour or 2 maybe . " Said Aoki . "I had a crazy dream that my dad's ship collapsed . " He said . " looks like your friend had been listening even while unconscious . Interesting ." Said Dr . Rose . "So it was real ?" Asked Ikor.  "I'm sorry, I know this boat was your dad's ." Said Riff.  "Thank you for putting my life before yours. I can't thank you enough " He said . "I-Ikor , that's what friends do . " Said Riff not expecting that . Dr . Rose bandaged Riff's head after finishing Ikor's arm.  "Call me if you need help ." Dr. Rose said after finishing her job . She gave Trek a seed bag . "What is that for ?" Asked Trek . "Plant it to call me . How do you think I will respond ?" Asked Dr. Rose . "I thought we had to scream your name at the top of our lungs ... Which I forgot ." Said Eron . Trek laughed very hard . "My name is Rose ."she said . Then she made a big flower and stepped in it then it closed . It opened again but Rose wasn't there . "Where did she go ?" Asked Riff . "We won't know ." Said Ikor . "One more relm to go ." Said Aoki . "Riff ... Tell me you got the book from the boat ." Said Aoki . "Maybe in the bag ?" He said unsure if he packed it with the bracer . " Got it !" Said Eron after looking through the bag . "Oh good ." Said Trek relieved . "Now how will we get there ?" Asked Eron looking at the map . "Hmmm ,we need another boat ." Said Ikor .
