"sorry to disturb you kai, thanks for agreeing to tutor me!" you thanked.
kai was your classmate and he was also the top student in the whole level for physics.
"no problem y/n! just text me whenever you need help!" he smiled back.
you pulled him into a friendly embrace patting his back and saying goodbye.
you clenched your books and walked to the aoba johsai volleyball gym to wait for your boyfriend , oikawa tooru or flattykawa dooru.
you sat on the bleachers watching him play, he glanced at you once in awhile to make sure you were watching.
"y/n-kun! you forgot your notebook!" your classmate kai said while walking on the bleachers towards you.
"ah! im so forgetful, thank you kai!" you sheepishly thanked.
"oh yea y/n do you have some time to spare? i kinda need help with english stuff." he kindly asked.
"oh yea sure! never expected a smarty pants like you to need help tho haha!" you joked.
he rubbed his nape and smiled at you, "uh so i don't really understand the grammar..."
you taught Kai and had to lean over his lap as he was holding the textbook.
"iwa-chan! look at my y/n-chan and that guy! she keeps on leaning over his lap!" he angrily muttered.
"of course a guy would try to court her! anyways get your head in the game flatass!" he scolded.
oikawa angrily grumbled as he watched in agitation, his head not fully submerged in the game.
"thanks y/n-kun for teaching me!" kai exclaimed opening his arms.
you friendly hugged him and patted his back like a bro, "no problems kai! stay safe when walking home alright?"
kai smiled and grabbed his backpack walking out of the gym.
you heard the whistle blow which indicated that practice had ended.
"tooru! you're finally done! let's go back home!" you excitedly exclaimed, you love having talks while walking home with your boyfriend.
"mm" he dryly replied not lifting his gaze from the floor.
you guys walked in an awkward silence you wondering why oikawa wasn't talking.
"so tooru... what have you been up to-"
"ehh??! y/n-kun? is that you?" a voice called out.
you turned around and saw kai behind.
"kai! what're you doing here? i thought you already went home!" you said surprised.
"ah, i dropped by the vending machine to get a drink!" he answered while showing you his isotonic drink.
"oh yea, kai this is oikawa, oikawa this is kai!" you introduced.
