Pearl Dubois prided herself on many things in life. However, she was particularly good at spying on people, gathering even the slightest piece of potentially beneficial information. When she had run away from Saint Denis, narrowly escaping a group of murderous Lemoyne Raiders, she had quickly found herself among a group of 'discouraged women', as some might put it.

Pearl, narrowing her brown eyes, stared at the members of the infamous Van der Linde gang, each of them unaware they were being closely monitored from the bushes surrounding their new hideout. Pearl hadn't learned as much as she'd hoped she would. The group seemed frustrated with an older man who lazed about all day—"It's the lumbago!"—and there was a mother and child in the gang as well, which Pearl had been surprised by. Another man named Micah was missing at the moment, though she didn't know why. One person in particular stood out to her, though.

O'Driscoll.

The gang had a captive. His hands were tied behind his back and he complained loudly every time someone referred to him as 'the O'Driscoll boy'. He apparently hadn't eaten in days, save for the food secretly given to him by a young woman named Mary-Beth. Pearl planned to mention this boy to Maude as soon as she returned to her own gang's camp.

For now, however, her job was to wait... and wait... and wait... and wait...

"Six Point Cabin!"

Maude turned to look at Pearl, who had just burst through the entrance of Maude's tent. Maude shared a glance with Agnes Brown, the gang's resident ex-tailor, who was currently fixing a bunch of the woman's shirts for her as a favor.

"What the hell does 'Six Point Cabin' mean?" asked Agnes, before she handed a red shirt to Maude. "Here you go. Onto the next one, I suppose. How many shirts can you mess up, Gen?"

"My middle name is Genevieve, not Gen," replied Maude. "Besides, it's probably best if you don't ask how my shirts get torn to pieces."

Pearl groaned, "Hello?! Did neither of you hear what I just said?!"

"Maybe we'd give you the time of day if you told us what 'Six Point Cabin' means," glared Maude.

Rolling her eyes, Pearl said, "Dutch van der Linde's gang has got some man tied up in their camp. They keep calling him an O'Driscoll, though he's been disputing that idea. He's taking them to Six Point Cabin tomorrow because that's where he says Colm is holed up right now. They want to try and catch him off guard."

Maude furrowed her eyebrows, and asked, "What do they want with Colm O'Driscoll?"

Pearl shrugged, "I guess they've had some problems with him in the past or something like that."

"What about those other two I asked you to look into? Trelawny, and what was the other one's name? Seamus, maybe?"

"Sean. His last name is MacGuire. They helped him escape some bounty hunters last night," said Pearl. "Trelawny is nowhere to be found, at least as of right now. I've still gotta look into him some more."

Maude nodded in understanding. She knew couldn't rush Pearl without risking her becoming careless. The group wouldn't be able to handle the loss of someone like her.

"Where is Six Point Cabin?" she asked.

Pearl answered, "Cumberland Forest. It's not that far from Valentine, I don't think."

"Well then, Dubois, I need you to go tell Ida and Myrtle to be ready for tomorrow. You need to be ready, too. We're going to Six Point Cabin," said Maude, standing up from where she had been sitting. "I wanna see if we can get that O'Driscoll, who isn't an O'Driscoll, to come with us."
