Three Years Later
A young woman, who has a heavenly glow of motherhood, came out of the bathroom after freshening up after working the whole day working and then looked at her two years old baby and chuckled seeing her taekwondo sleeping posture. She came to the bed and she ruffled her smooth hair and looked at her with love and thought it was the only thing she had inherited from her or else she looked like her father in every aspect of her life. Whether it is her smooth hair, chocolate brown eyes or her anger problem.
Suddenly, her heart started to feel this undesirable emotion which she never wanted to feel anymore. She scratched her palm against her heart to stop this sensation. She frowned and thought what reminded her of that person who was responsible for her ruined life? Why did she think that something was going to happen? And she couldn't even let that feeling go. Why? Is anything bad going to happen or is it just her assumption? Time alone will tell.
Somehow she shrugged and focussed on the one person she lives for. Who is the purpose of her life, her daughter, Muskan. That person made her life a hell, but she was also grateful to him for one thing, he gave her, Muskan. The most beautiful baby on the earth planet. She was so immersed in her Muskan that she could not hear the doorbell. She was about to wake Muskan up when the bell rang again, frightening her a little. She breathed and came down to open the door.
She opened the door and stood there motionless. It was Arnav Singh Raizada, whom she never wanted to meet again, and now she knows why she felt that way all day long. She composed herself as if he were nobody, which is the most important truth of her life in the past two years. She calmly says "yes?"
Arnav being shocked would be an understatement. He never thought that he would find his wife here whom he had been searching for more than two years. He gazed at her with eyes full of tears and with some strange emotion that Khushi Couldn't comprehend. Not that she was too desperate to find out. Khushi asked him again, "yes, do you need anythingMr. Raizada?" Arnav swallows the gorge to hear Mr. Raizada from Khushi. However, he knew he deserved it. But it hurts.
Arnav cleared his throat and said, "haan, woh! My car broke down, and it was raining, so I thought I might ask the owner of the house if I could stay here tonight, but I... It's your home I suppose. I am sorry I bothered you so late. I...i... should take my leave and'' Saying this he was about to go but was forced to stop by a loud cry of a baby.
