Corvo is a major player in a rebellion against a race of humans 500 years in the future. Him and his best friends Olivia, Carney, Rios, and his unintentionaly adopted daughter Michele are forced out of their peaceful livings so that they can maintain i better foothold on the war. Through going from city to city avoiding the traiterous conformers, mutants, futuristic security systems, and the so called observers themselves they have to drive them away. this is a start to a story of mine ill probably be adding more to the story, actually i will most definately be adding it to this site as i finish a chapter. just read enjoy and, give me any tips that you can. of course it also possible for to completely start over because i am picking a lot out that i don't myself like

I was sprinting across main street passing up old buildings 1st street2nd 3rd and 4th avoiding wreckage hopping over holes in the road jumping over fallen power poles it’s all so familiar… because I do it all the time all of the smashed windows burned and collapsed buildings. I can see the bowling alley now “Tiffany lanes”. I bust through the doors and run straight to the false wall I push on the right corner of the panel and the bit collapses leaving a hole big enough for me to crawl through. I get on the ladder close the panel and begin the climb down. I turn around and keep running before I get far I see a spire pierce through the roof. Gases begin to erupt from it. I know this smell I’ve smelt it before so familiar a million memories begin to flash through my mind. This time I won’t survive it there isn’t nearly enough time to escape there’s going to be a spark and a giant ball of flame is going to erupt killing everyone in our little bunker we made. All of our work all of the people we lost it was all for nothing. There’s a hissing noise a bright light and I wake up my entire body beaded with sweat my breathing fast and erratic I sit there for a while before I just fall down back in my bunk. My door creaks open I bolt up and grab my knife from my nightstand one leg on the ground I look at what's there. It’s just a girl with long blonde hair scrawny with eyes so blue you swear it’s what the sky use to be. Poor innocent Michele, only a little girl and here I am pointing a knife at her. I quickly slide the knife under my bunk and ask “what's wrong baby girl?”

“I had a nightmare, I’m scared can I sleep with you again Corvo?” she says still standing in my doorway wearing my old gulf oil company t-shirt that could pass as a dress on her “of course you can Michi I told you that anytime you need me you come running to my room” she put a big toothless grin on her face and jumped in my bed “I see you lost another tooth” I said tucking her in under my blanket with me “mhm I’m becoming a big girl just like Olivia” “well I for one am very proud of you, you just keep growing and growing soon I’m not going to know what to do with you. Soon you might not even need to come to my room for nightmares” “I don’t know if I want to stop coming in here just yet. You’re always so nice to me when everyone else sees me as an annoying little kid.”

“Well its bed time that’s enough chit chat it’s time for us to make some z’s” I said and she went right to sleep

Ever since we were invaded 6 years ago I've been taking care of this girl most everyone thinks she really is my daughter. But I never asked for this I’m only 19 forced into a father position I've raised her from a toddler and I basically have become her father. I wonder how many other people my age have been put in the same position. How fewer have taken it as seriously as I do. She says she doesn’t want a mother because she feels that would give her less room to love me. Not that any girl apart from one really catches my eye. But as long a Michele is safe and sound I’m happy. I kiss her on the forehead and drift off.

“Hey wake up its time to start the day” I hear a voice say “go away” I say swinging my pillow from under my head to hit the voice in the head with

“You heard Olivia get up you lazy bum” Michele’s squeaky voice screamed with her fists banging on my legs. I put a smile on my face opened my eyes and saw Olivia her long brown hair thrown all in dismay from me hitting her with my pillow I could read the annoyance on her and she was beautiful her eyes. Blue but not like Michele’s, different a darker blue with white lines speckled in. proof that she was a test subject. Luckily not long enough to be deformed completely into something inhuman but enough to know what they did to her. that’s something we have in common we were both in the baton rouge camp both experimented on for 2 weeks the only difference is that I was enhanced with enhanced perceptions incredibly dense bones stronger faster muscles and enhanced reactions while she was drained. Becoming anemic dyslexic colorblind epileptic arthritic and infertile. We were cellmates we know each other better than anyone else knows each other we are both still haunted by everything that happened and we still vent to each other nothing we haven’t heard before from each other just that it still bothers us several years later.

“Good morning sunshine” I said

She just rolled her eyes, helped me out of my bed, sat down, and put Michele on her knee

“Well can the ladies vacate the area so I can get dressed, pleased?” I said stretching out they both just smiled and walked out the door I stood there alone in the middle of my room. Proud of what I've made it sheet rock walls running water electricity. It’s a haven in all of the chaos in the world and the best part; the observers are none the wiser that we have this place. Of course they know of us we have caused enough hell but they probably believe that we live in the metro areas of their cities though. They don’t think we are smart enough to create a rebellion this effective at least they didn’t we have stolen power cells from them that last us for months. It’s nothing like it used to be before but it’s better than most anyone else in the world has. I walk up to my closet pull a shirt out and a pair of pants. On my drawers I see a bunch of pictures one of Olivia she's outside and the sun is bouncing around in her hair off her skin, she looks angelic. Another is of me and Michele we are both asleep in the atrium she's resting her head in my lap and I have my arm on her shoulder. Michele with her 2nd grade class. Only 7 students but we do what we can to educate them. Me and some of my buds, there’s Jensen, carney, and Gonzalez all of us standing over our first observer mutant kill. That was 4 years ago but it feels like it was lifetimes ago. I reach under my drawers and take out a secret picture. My first picture I had ever with Olivia. Not a happy time for either of us but I feel it’s important that I keep it. The two of us in our cells at the baton rough facility before a man named Noon freed us from that hell. Olivia is crying and I have my arms around her trying to condole her because her parents had just died. I had just seen my parents die the week before but they were abusive I had no tears to shed for them. I was actually glad that they were gone less that I had to deal with. Little did I know that I was going to be set up year later once I got here into Bedico Texas. I hated the observers. But without them I would still be with my abusive family I would not have such good friends I dare say a daughter. I wouldn’t trade what has happened for anything but I can’t say I’d be willing to do it all again. But if I did I would certainly do a lot differently… this is no time to be thinking about this I have to get ready

I slip on a pair of jeans grab a t-shirt from my closet throw it on and then slip on a pair of work boots and socks. I hurry up and walk outside

“Noon wants to see us, ok? He says to make sure we are alone.” Olivia said

“Ok that’s fine we can drop Michele off on our way there.” I said. I heard a big huff come from Michele. I just flicked her forehead. I took Michele by the hand and we started walking down halls

In the distance I saw Elise huddling everyone into the room we made to act as the school.

“So what are we going to be learning today Ms. Elise?” I asked Elise

“Why today we are going to continue learning our multiplication tables. Of course Michele already knows them so I won’t have too much of an issue with her. Let’s just hope she doesn’t fall asleep again.” Elise said kneeling down and looking at Michele

“Well I leave her in your trusting hands Elise” I said. I gave Michele a kiss on the forehead and walked away to see Noon. Now the thing about Noon is that… well he’s an observer he rebelled against the belief system of the rest of the observers and he aptly went around recruiting his first ones, the Baton Rouge detainment center. He policed that research center and learned the layout then he took the entire place down single handedly not many joined his rebellion and the ones who did didn’t survive long. Besides from me and Olivia of course we’ve seen so many of our friends die it’s a wonder we haven’t broken down completely yet. The two of us have absolute respect what we say gets done not many people question us. Of course we are only Noons go to people, he’s the man pulling all of the strings. Without him we would never have gotten out of Baton Rouge. We of course would not have this amazing underground lair where we live comfortably.

The walk was mostly in silence.
