Me and Niall were talking and cuddling in the living room of our flat when we got a call from Robby (Niall's dad). He called to inform us that Maura(Niall's mom) has a been diagnosed with a severe form of breast cancer. Niall broke down first and then me, we cuddled on the couch crying, then we went to pack knowing we were going to be staying in Ireland for a LONG while. All I could think about is that if Maura doesn't defeat the cancer and dies how Niall will take it. We immediately went to Niall's private jet and went to Ireland. When we first got there we went to Maura's house dropped our stuff in the guest room and went to check on her. She was torn apart and a mess. Maura starts treatment in three days Niall, Robby, and I will be with her every step of the way. Since we had no idea of her prognosis or any idea how long she had to live. Niall and I decided to get married in Ireland it was a small wedding. We wanted Maura to be there during our wedding so we got married early. Maura became very frail and weak it was hard to see her in that condition and to see her so sick. The doctor said there wasn't really much they could do the chemo just was not doing it. They estimated she had about a month and a half left to live. We all broke down crying our eyes out, Maura was just the sweetest person ever, why would this happen to her? I would rather be the one to die than to see her die. Maura was a wreck she was just thinking about dying. Then when Niall, Robby, and I were asleep Maura slipped a few times so we had to stay awake. We all said our goodbyes and I love yous just in case she did end up passing away. She made it through the night her condition is worse today, they think today will be her last day. Then when she was taking a nap she died in her sleep. It was heart wrenching and painful. I think Robby took it the hardest, Niall and I cried together Niall just hasn't been the same since she died. If I could say one last thing to Maura it would be "Thank you"
Four months after Maura died Niall and I found out I was pregnant! The baby was a girl and in honor of Maura we planned to name the baby Maura Angel Horan!
