"Ow kasey, stop it" i whisper yelled, trying not to wake the others. "why did you scare me like that tye?" kasey asked. "It looked like you were literally about to jump into the t.v so save clifford." i chuckled, "oh" she replied, hiding her face in her hair. i took a seat next to her on the lounge and looked at her. she was..... blushing. "you know kasey, your really cute when you blush" i said without thinking. Her head shot up to look at me. I couldnt look away from her.
*kasey's p.o.v*
wait.... did he just call me cute? we sat there awkwardly, just staring at each other. Until my impulses kicked in and without thinking, my lips crashed onto his. he immediatly kissed me back. his lips tasted heavenly. he deepened the kiss. We sat on the couch for about 10 minutes, until we pulled away for breath. we were silent for a minute. then he spoke. "Wow, that was...uh....um.....well i didnt......expect that?" he said more like a question. "Im so sorry tye, i dont know what came over me. im really sor....." i was cut off by his lips on mine. after a minute of kissing again, he said "Kasey, i...i.....li.....lik....like....yo....you." he said, studdering. My jaw dropped and i stared at him in disbelief. "And im guessing you dont feel the same way. well dont i feel stupid" he said. putting his head in his hands "Its not that tye, its just that i've had a thing for you since i was like thirteen, i just never expected you to like me back" i said honestly. he looked up at me "Well i didnt to begin with, but over the years that you lived with us, i realised how amazing you are, and how cute you are." i looked at him. "i dont really know what to say now" i said scratching my arm, which i always do when im nervous. "well i do. Kasey sky rivers, will you do me the honours of being my girlfriend?" he said. i sat there, speechless, did my crush of 4 years really just ask me out? "i..um....uhh.Well what about stacey? She's my best friend, and your sister." i stated, poking his chest. "what if she found out. what would happen to our friendship?" i added. "Well, we just wont tell her" he said with a sly grin on his face "but we swore we'd tell eachother everything. and we have ever since." i stated. "but baby, sometimes you cant tell EVERYTHING to eachother." he stated back. i let out a heavy sigh "i guess your right" i hope she doesnt find out. "so is that a yes?" he asked raising an eyebrow. "yes, its a yes." i said happily. "yay!" he screamed. "shut up you bozo, do you want to wake the others?" i hissed at him "no ma'am." he said in a childish voice. "good. now lets watch a movie" i said. "ok, lets watch the avengers" he said while putting the dvd in the dvd player. "too late to say no now" i mumbled to myself. Tye sat back on the couch and started the movie. We sat there cuddling on the couch under a blanket. About halfway through the movie my eyes became heavy. Tye must've noticed, beacause he moved us so we were laying on the couch. i could feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier. before i knew it i was heading for a black abyss of sleep, but just before i went i heard a whisper say "sweet dreams babygirl, i love you."
