Docking their ships, Kaga, Akagi, Shoukaku, Zuikaku, and Ayanami jumped off their respective vessels and walked to the entrance of the docks where they were met by two girls, both with fox ears on their heads.
"Welcome home, Akagi," Kako greeted.

"Good to see you, Kako," the Carrier replied.
"Did anything important occur in our absence?" Kaga asked.
"No, not really. Although Nagato wishes to speak with you, Akagi," Kako answered.
"I know, thank you. I'll report to her now."
As Ayanami reunited with her sister Destroyers, two of the girls walked over to where Zuikaku and Shoukaku were standing.
"We returned safely," Shoukaku said, bowing.
"Excellent work out there; I am glad you returned in one piece," Souryuu replied with a nod.

"Oh, you just wouldn't believe it, Souryuu," Shoukaku complained. "Our elders were so harsh. Why are our leaders so demanding?"
As the two began talking, Hiryuu turned to Zuikaku, who had been silent for a time.
