Hey guys. This is my first fanfic, so please don't judge. The first chapter isn't the best, so please hang in there... It get's better. And please vote for Daniel Seavey on American Idol!
CHAPT. 1
I definitely wasn't the most popular girl at Union High School. In fact, I only had one true friend. His name was Daniel Seavey. Yeah, I know, it's weird that my only real friend was a guy, but I don't care. We met in 4th grade, and we just clicked. One thing we had in common was music.
Music is really what brought us together. We both played multiple instruments, and we sound fantastic when we sing together. We'd always planned to become world famous and tour the globe performing someday.
I always insisted that Danniel was destined to be famous. He's just had this 'star' quality about him.
Anyway, I was at home on saturday, playing on the keyboard I have in my room, when my phone buzzed. I picked it up, and saw that Daniel had texted me.
Daniel: Hey.
Me: Hi
Daniel: Did you get question number 7 in history???
Me: Srsly? Ur JUST getting around to your homework? U promised not to procrastinate
Daniel: Sorry! So did you get it or not?
Me: Yeah its easy. Hint: What did the fall of rome lead 2?
Daniel: Oh, that IS easy! thnx!
Me: No problem. Gtg see u tommorow?
Daniel: Eh, maybe lol. Bye
Mr. Seavey is a pastor, and Daniel plays cello on the worship team.
I'd only been to his church a few times, because my family goes to a different one, but this sunday, Daniel's youth group was speaking in front of the congregation. For some reason, the idea of Daniel doing anything related to public speaking was a huge deal in my parents eyes.
The Seavey family had invited us to come, so this week, we were going to his church.
I set my phone down and began to play through a new song I was working on learning.
Halfway through, I stopped. Picking up my phone again, I began to compose a text to Daniel.
Me: Oh, btw, my parents said it would be ok to take u out to lunch to celebrate.
A few minutes later, I got a text back.
Daniel: OMG YESSSS!!! u guys r AMAZING!
Me: I know lol. Where do u want to go?
Daniel: I don't care. Surprise me!
I set down my phone, satisfied, and walked to the corner where my guitar sat on a stand. I picked it up and sat on the foot of my bed.
As I played through 'Something Big' I thought about the day ahead of me. I couldn't wait to see Daniel speak. He was exited, too, although he didn't show it.

My alarm went off at 6:15 AM.
I emidiatly jumped out of bed and began rummaging through my dresser drawers, trying to find the perfect outfit.
I took more time than usual to do my hair and makeup, which is something I never do. I guess my parent's unreasonable excitement was contagious.

"Come on," I urged my dad as he leisurely consumed a bowl of cereal. "I don't want to be late!"
"Calm down, Sara," my dad sighed dramatically. "I'm almost done! We won't be late, I promise!"
The minute my dad finished his breakfast, I hurried him and my mom out the door.
Even though it was a relatively short drive, it seemed to take forever.
And then it happened.
We were about halfway there when it occurred. An car swerved from the other lane and hit us head on at an incredible speed.
It was almost as if time itself had stopped. I saw the windshield shatter, I felt the car roll, and I heard a scream coming from somewhere. I realized that I was the one screaming. My head hit the glass window. I felt it shatter. The world was spinning, and everything went dark.
