The Beginning

(David's POV)

I walk into the mall trying to find the girl I had brought in there. Her name is Sarah and she's the first girl I've ever liked enough to go shopping with. I really hope we will be together for a long time.

As I was going into the Macy's I saw her standing by a mirror trying on a hat. When she saw me she frowned.

I asked what was wrong and she just sighed. I'll never know what she was thinking about, but I still love everything about her.

I didn't know it then but she was my whole world.

I searched Jared's for the perfect engagement ring, it had to be perfect for my Sarah.

I finally found a beautiful ring and headed home to pack a picnic basket for the special date.

As we were walking through the park I got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. After a few suspenseful moments she finally said the words I had been looking for.

Sarah had said "Yes!"
