You're turning from side to side in your own bed, trying to find a peace of mind and a comfortable position. The both sides of your pillow feel warm enough, and you finally stop trying and make your way down the stairs, to the common room. You sit on the couch and let your thoughts go however they like.
You're diving deeper and deeper in your thoughts as you watch the fire flaming on it's own. You're the only one awake. Everything seems so calm and at rest.
You suddenly wake up from your toughts as you hear someone walking down the stairs, that lead to dormitories. You turn your head and see Hermione standing at the door frame.
"Hey y/n, what are you doing up? I got worried", she said as she walked closer to the couch and sat down next to you, looking deeply in your eyes.
"Oh, I um- I just wasn't able to sleep for some reason, and I didn't want to wake anyone up", you explained as simply as you could
"Oh, okay I understand. Would you like some company?" She asked with a calm tone waiting for an answer
You thought about your answer for a moment.
"I'm fine, thanks, just go to sleep", you sighed as you turned your eyes back to the fireplace.
Hermione didn't take that to her hearing ears and placed an arm around your shoulders.
You took a fast look at her, but then calmed down and placed your head on her shoulder. You sighed deeply.
"Everything alright love?" She asked you with a worried tone.
"Mmh, everythings fine", you answered and let yourself dive into her arms.
