The satiny, silk nightgown floated to her knees as Isa stands from the white bed.
Her hair was tangled, a perfect representation of her thoughts. She combs her fingers through her short hair, hoping to rid of most of the tangles.
She sighs and walks towards a large, window like door that leads to the balcony, covered by sky blue curtains. She pushes the slight curtains away and opens the large window doors that lead to the balcony, hoping the blinding light will blind her sadness away.
But to no prevail, her feelings still lingered. She rolls her eyes, knowing that wouldn't work. It was a ridiculous idea.
She looks into the large mirror that claimed her wall, her body was a mere reflection, not even taking up a fraction of it.
She traps herself in her own, vacant eyes; sighing at the events she has been so blinded by, she decides to put on a new gown to distract herself.
This moon like gown covered almost all parts of her skin, the crêpe fabric embedded on the shoulders, floated down her body.
The ash like dressed gave her an appearance of elegance and composure.
An armor like chest piece was placed within the dress. Now if anything was to happen, she can be prepared with ease.
A knock sounded onto her door, the banging was soft but powerful. She knew who exactly was waiting for her.
"Come!" She yells across the room, still looking at herself in the large mirror. Her hands were clasped over the lower part of her stomach, she turns to see the gaze of her brothers.
"It is rare that you visit me so early, Thor." She bows her head as she walks down tiny steps, and makes her way to the door. "What is it?" She curiously asks.
Thor stands as a tower in front of her, his eyes filled with confusion. "This isn't like you, sister." He whispers, walking into her room to prevent wondering ears.
The silver of his chainmail arms reflect the light pouring in from the open doors of the balcony.
"First, you come home without warning—lose your mind about Loki...and somehow you 'lured' him back to the dungeons?" He asks in disbelief, she nods slowly.
"It was quite simple to solve such problems." She adds, sitting softly onto a silver padded chair.
"You know shadow magic was banned." He sternly whispers, but she nodded her head again.
"Then...shouldn't you be back on Earth?" He questions kneeling down to her. His brows furrowed up in concern as his dirty blond strands drooped around his face.
"If they were so easily tricked by mere shape-shift magic, then I believe they are no longer worthy of my presence."
Thor could see right through those words. She was only fooling herself.

FanfictionThis is just a quick little challenge my friends and I are doing. There is a second version of this book out there, showing the different perspectives and filling in the obvious plot holes in this one. Like I said, just a fun little challenge.
