(^Me and mason when he was a baby).

"Moma I can't sleep coz the boogeyman told me he eat me"
I get woken up by my 2 and a half year old daughter because the boogeyman told her she's not aloud to sleep...again. This has been an ongoing problem and it's really starting to concern me.

"Oh baby, come on"
Leah snuggled up onto my bed and kissed my cheek. Which of corse made my heart flutter- you'll understand when your a mom.

"Night Moma"
these are the moments parents live for. The ones where your children kiss your cheeks, tell you they love you, call you moma,or mommy.... these moments won't last forever, so take them as they come.
"Goodnight baby, I love you to the moon and back" I kissed her nose as she let out a yawn
"I love you to the moon and back,twice"
And with that-she was out.

The small red didgets across the room read---- 11:57.
Which means there's less than ten minutes until mason wanders in thinking its morning.

I nearly blinded myself when I picked up my phone to check for any missed calls .....or.. Skypes from my husband.

*call me tomorrow... the kids miss you. I Love you* pressing send I turned my alarm on for 7:00 tomorrow morning.

"Mommy is breakfast ready?" Mason walks into my bedroom rubbing his eyes.

"Sorry kid, it's still sleepy time"
Mason nodded- probably expecting that answer knowing that we go through this every night.

He hopped into my bed next to Leah and whispered the same phrase he whispers every night.

"Dear God,
Thank you for my mommy and sister be cause my mommy snuggles me and feeds me and takes me to the park and my sister, Leah, shares her goldfish with me when I hummy.
Please let my daddy be safe and tell him I love him.
Thanks God. "

This breaks my heart every night.

"Love you to the moon and back twice ,mommy"

"Baby" I grabbed his small hands.
"I love you to the moon and back 3 times.

He let out that giggle I love so much and not too long after he was asleep too.

I stood picking up Leah with me and carried her to her bed.
I tiptoed back to my room to do the same to mason without waking either of them.

It's been a long day, I cannot wait, to do this again tomorrow. (Note the sarcasm.)
