Well hey there, how ya'll doing? 😁 Ideas for new Queen fanfics are just rolling in left and right off my brain so welcome to Phoenix. This one will be a little bit more different than the other stories and will take place in the 1980s in Phoenix, Arizona. For this AU, they are all cops as well as best friends but the band does not exist in this timeline except for Roger's band The Cross. I decided to have this one take place in the 80s 'cuz they all looked tougher during that era. For references on the exact year I'm gonna go with 1982 during the Hot Space era since I designed the book cover with that photo shoot. Everyone in this story is American except for Brian, Roger, Freddie, and John. Also I don't think I'll do any shipping in this but if I do it'll probably be very brief and subtle. I kinda wanna widen my stance a little bit with Queen fanfics and not make it all about shipping 'cuz ngl it kinda gets boring after a certain amount of time. No worries though, I still love Maylor and all that. :)
Anyways this is based off the movie Phoenix with Ray Liotta, Daniel Baldwin, Anthony LaPaglia, Jeremy Piven, Anjelica Huston, and Brittany Murphy. Again please no spoilers in the comments if you've already seen this movie. 😛 Story is Rated M for language, violence, and some sexual content.
