Chapter 14

Avas pov

*in the morning*

I woke up in Carls arms. I dont remember getting in his arms. I thought it was funny waking up to this. I slowly got up but felt him move.

"Good morning babe," He said.

"Good morning," I said back.

I got up and changed. He just watched me and it got creepy so I threw a dirty short at him.

"Pervert," I said laughing.

"Wow nice shirt where did you get it?" Carl asked.

"Dumbass," I said back. He knew where I got it. It was one of his shirts.

"Hey im not a dumbass, I just really like this shirt."

"Take it back then."

"No I think its better on you."

"Aww do you wanna kiss up now?"

"Maybe," he said and walked over and kissed me. We were interupted by Rick walking in.

"Oops sorry, get back to what you were doing."

"DAD!" Carl said loudly. We walked downstairs with our stuff to hit the road. Dad and Rick explained everything.

"So we stay low and quiet." Dad said.

"Stay on the train tracks follow the maps." Rick said.

"Ok wait so stay low and hide or stay in the open?" I ask.

"Whatever he wants." Dad said pointing to Rick.

"We stay on the train tracks, if we dont we could louse sense of direction."Rick said.

"Ok and when we get there we will tell you the rest." Dad said.

"Ok Ava if you need a break or if Andre does just say and we will stop for a little. Ok?" Rick said and Dad shaked his head.

"Ok," I said and headed out the door. Carl was right behind me in the beginning then I slowed my pace for him.

"So whats up?" He asked.

"The clouds, the sky," I said.

"Oh well I geuss so."

"Hehe, your a dork."

"I am indeed."

We keep talking for awhile until Andre needs a break. I sit down on a rock and take a drink of my water. Carl and Mia sat next to me. It was a big rock. When it was like 5 to 10 minutes we kept going. It was silent this time we didnt talk.

"Have you lost anyone through this?" Carl asked me.

"Yea but I killed them." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"He hurt Mia," thats all i said.

"Oh,"

"Yea, can you tell me about your sister?"

"Um she... she....she..died." he said at the verge of tears. I hugged him.

"Its ok." I said. I was happy he finally told me. He finally noticed that she may be gone but he cant hold it in.

"Shh....shh.....shh," I cooed as he cried. He stoppec crying and when we turned back to the group we noticed they were all staring and us.

"Take a picture it will last longer?" Mia said and turned around and kept going. Wow whats wrong with her. I turn and saw a sign that yad terminus on it.

"Umm guys look at this,"I called everyone.

"Glenn go to terminus Maggie," I said. "They are alive lets keep going we will meet them,"Rick said.

And with that we were off.

So sorry it was a short chapter but I thought maybe this chapter would be more about Avas and Carls relationship. -Lara
