What just happened!

Beam POV

Here dancing with Forth's arms on my waist holding me is giving me a sense of comfort I have never felt and is peaceful in its own ways. I want to be like this for life. I am still confused as to what I feel for Forth but I want to give him the chance he asked for. I look back at Forth to see him staring at me with eyes that were portraying love, adoration, and much more emotions that I couldn't decipher. 

"Yes Forth!" I said looking at him in his eyes

He tilted his head with a face full of confusion. I chuckled and he smiled so wide that it could light up the whole room. 

"Yes to giving you a chance," I said smiling at him

"Really?!!!" Forth said  in a high octave voice

I nodded and looked around to see people staring at us both. I looked back and he was lovingly staring at me 

"No gestures Beam. Please use words." Forth said in a soft voice 

"Yes Forth," I said with determination in my voice 

He picked me up and screamed 

"He said yes to giving me a chance. I will prove myself to you Beam. I promise." 

He put me down and pecked my cheek. He hugged me and I heard clapping from people around. I looked around to find people paying attention to our conversation. His friends were showing a thumbs up showing their pleasing behavior towards Forth's actions. Weirdly, I couldn't find my friends anywhere. 

"Forth everyone is looking," I said looking down 

"So what Beam? I wanna show the world I love you." Forth said looking proud. 

I just shook my head and hid my face by looking at the floor which was suddenly very interesting. Forth lifted my face and admired me 

"Don't hide from me Beam."

I just nodded my head. 

"This song is for the beautiful couple out there!" DJ said pointing at us. He played the song "All about us" 

Forth offered his hand which I gladly accepted. He pulled me close and we danced. I wanted to forget all my worries and focus on my present where I am here with Forth with his arms secured around me. 

Take my hand, I'll teach you to dance

I'll spin you around, won't let you fall down 

Would you let me lead?

 You can step on my feet

Give it a try, it'll be alright

With him and just me here in this moment, I feel safe and feel like everything will be alright if he is with me. I look at him and he is so lost with eyes full of love, his gummy smile, and his fragrance that is surrounding me at the moment making me drunk on him. 

The room's hush hush and now's our moment

Take it in, feel it all and hold it

Eyes on you, eyes on me

We're doing this right
