Wrote this for her birthday! JoannaEdwards7 Happy Birthday!!

Edward's POV :

A few years ago I would not have imagined me getting married, me settling down, even. But today when I look back at the past few months of my life there is not one moment I would regret. I know I practically forced her to live with me for a stupid reason, but she was my peace and calm, even though I wanted to hate her I could never.

I have changed so much and that too for the better. I would overwork myself, I practically lived in the office. But now every day at 7 I look forward to leaving and getting home to see my beautiful wife. I look forward to sleeping with her beside me in my arms, I look forward to waking up to that beautiful face. Spending time with her is the highlight of my day. I hate it when other guys are eyeing her, I am very possessive and why shouldn't I be? I mean look at her! But I trust her enough not to indulge with them.

That night before the wedding when she told me about her being the mother of my child I couldn't have been happier. That day when she daringly showed up at my room and took me out on the date, I was more in love with her. She made me complete, she made my family complete and I couldn't ask for anything more. It's been a dream. But here I am with my beautiful wife in my arms sleeping peacefully and me admiring when I should be in the office attending a meeting, but I will rather be here. I push her hair behind her ear as she snuggled closer to me.

"Rise and shine sunshine," I whisper in her ear. Her eye closed tighter as she pulled the comforter over her head making me chuckle. "Sophia," I warn. She peeks out of her blanket glaring at me. "I like you have started calling me by my name," she says sarcastically. My smile fades as I know what is about to unfold. "You don't love me anymore, I knew you would turn out like this. You better get out of bed if you want breakfast," she said getting out of bed. I laughed at her empty threat but abide by her nonetheless. I follow her but as she heads to the kitchen I turn and go to see my kids. My Life.

As I enter the room I feel some shuffling going around. I stop in my tracks when I see what is happening.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" I ask moving towards them. "ELLIOT! SERENA!" I shout as I move towards my twins. "HE STARTED IT" "SHE STARTED IT!" They both shout. Five years and they still can't get along. "Get off your brother Serena!" I said taking her off his back and pick him up for the ground. "What was happening in here?!" I asked. "Daddy, where is your shirt?" Serena asks giggling and I look down and rub my face. "Downstairs now!" I shout as I go to my room.

As soon as I return to the kitchen I see them eating their breakfast as they laugh with their mom. "Now what happened up there?" I asked sitting down. "Eli said He was your favourite!" She said pointing at him. "I am your favourite right dad?!" He asked glaring at his sister. I look at them confused and roll my eyes. As much as I love them I have to deal with more twins now. "I love you both the same," I said sitting down in my seat. "NO! CHOOSE ONE!" Serena said. I looked at Sophia and she just chuckled.

"Babe, you are supposed to help!" I said through gritted teeth. "They aren't fighting for my love," she laughed. "You see kids... You will grow up and then you will get married and I will only have your mother with me... So I love Sophia more," I said satisfied and looked at them as they gave me confused looks and then looked at their mother before they burst out crying. "YOU DON'T LOVE US, DAD!" Serena cried.

"Sweethearts, daddy loves you both okay?" Sophia said and they nodded as they stopped crying immediately and started eating. "I am supposed to call you sweetheart," I said hugging her from behind. "Ed! They are sitting right here!" she screeched trying to move away from me but I pulled her towards me and kissing her cheek.

"He does love her more," I heard Elliot mumble in a soft voice. I let her go and walked towards them. "I do, But that doesn't mean I don't love you both!" I said picking them up. Sophia looked at us smiling and I winked at her as I continued to hear about Serena's story.

As soon as they were done they ran to go get ready for school and finally I had some time. I sighed sitting down as Sophia grabbed a plate for me. "Thank you, Sweetheart," I smiled kissing her hand.

"I don't understand why you do that every day," she said sitting in front of me. "Because I can,"  I shrugged. She rolled her eyes but I didn't miss the blush she was trying to cover by looking away.

"Anyways, you have a meeting today right?" I asked. "Yeah, I'll drop the kids and join you in the office," she replied opening her laptop. I was so happy that we had brought a new building for our office so we could accommodate both of our staff and she could have her cabin right beside mine. It did take a lot of convincing since we do get distracted a lot but she came around.

"Stop smiling at me like that," she said not looking at me. "Sorry, can't stop admiring the view," I said winking at her. "You need to stop flirting with me!" she said. "I love you," I said making her look at me blushing again.

"Stop!" She said. I got up from my seat. "Say it back!" I said grabbing her laptop.

"Ed! I have a lot of work to finish, please don't be childish!" she said adjusting her cute glasses.

 "Say it back, Sweetheart."

"I love you too," she said smiling at me and I handed her the laptop walking to the stairs.

"You are so childish!"

"I know but you love me just the way I am!" I shouted.

"I do, I really love you," she said but I heard it.

And I really loved her too.
