•Venti, I hope you don't mind staying in Xiaos room for the night as we don't have a guest room and xiaos sister prefers no one goes in her room when she's not here.•

Venti and Zhongli smiled at each other
Warmly content on making eachother happy. Meanwhile outside a war is happening, a war in the sky. Thunder furiously crashing down on the surface below. Cursing a tree with flames once or twice.
•I'll clean up you three get comfortable.•
•ill stay with you zhongli, and comfort you♡•

Venti followed Xiao into his room where they had sat not much earlier in eachothers arms. Venti glanced at Xiao who was currently saying every curse word he knows under his breath.
•Xiao are you okay?•

•yeah, yeah I'm fine thanks just give me second.•

He left the room, slamming the door behind him.

•dad wheres the air bed!?•
•i- please don't whilst Ventis here or at least go in your room i don't wanna see that and I doubt Venti will.•

•Alright "dad" I gave it too next door they asked if we had one•

Xiao let out a big sigh releasing some anger.
•alright thanks•

•sorry about that, anyway where do you want to sleep?•
•i'll sleep on the sofa•
•alright im gonna have a shower, for your own good do not go into the living room•
•can I play Minecraft?•

Xiao came out from the shower, his wet hair and baggy pajamas. He walked over to the sofa and sat beside venti.
•survival? How many times have you died?•
•non thank you very much• venti pouted at xiao underestimating him.
•oh venti do you want some pajamas?•
•sure•
He threw the pajamas at ventis face making him jump. Once they'd both gotten dressed Xiao put Netflix on and played howls moving castle, to cancel out the storm happening outside.
•I love ghibli films they're so good•

•im going to bed in a minute okay?•
•okay g'night•

Venti rested his head on xiaos lap half expecting to be pushed away but instead xiao loosened his braids and ran his warm fingers through Ventis hair. It was relaxing enough to make venti fall asleep in minutes.

After double checking venti was asleep xiao lifted his head and placed it gently on the sofa making his way to his bed.
Eventually xiao fell asleep, but venti woke up due to the storm. He didn't want to say it but he was afraid of storms, him being sleepy resulted in getting in xiaos bed with him taking the quilt because he was cold.
•venti?...• xiaos voice was like a wisper.
•yea•
•why are you in my bed?•
•I- I dont like storms•
•do you get in your brothers bed when your at home?•
•no? I have plushies at home•
•Okay well I'm going back to sleep•
Still scared venti wrapped his arms around Xiao stealing xiaos warmth for himself.
