Behind The Stage

Chapter 1 "How it Started" Part 1

Nick and Janeb are in the same school and same class in college.

While having the class, Nick is watching the clock as the second hand moves forward.

Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...

Silence. The only thing that you can hear is the sound of the chalk hitting the board and its squishing sound.

Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...

It's a hot afternoon and everybody's souls are sleeping except for one person - the teacher.

Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...

Rrrrrring!

"Yeah!" everyone yelled and jumped with excitement.

But the teacher kept writing on the board.

"Ma'am, it's time to go home!" one of the students said.

"No! we have 71.5 seconds left. Sit down." she said while writing on the board.

The ringing is still on. As they sit and as the noise go slow, they're starting to realize that the ringing is coming from somewhere in the classroom.

"Mr. Collins, turn your phone off and put it on my table............now." the teacher said calmly while writing on the board.

All the students looked at him but he didn't feel embarrassed. Janeb felt embarrassed instead because they are seat mates. His cheeks turned red. Sweat bullets appeared on his nose and forehead. He hurried Nick to bring his phone on the table and he pushed him as he walk towards the front.

"Mr. Collins, see me at the office after the class." the teacher said as she keep writing on the board.

"Yes ma'am"

Nick went back to his seat after he brings the phone on the table. And right after he sit on his chair, the school bell rang. the teacher stopped writing and stood behind the teacher's desk.

"Listen, this will be your assignment tomorrow." the teacher said as she point to the chalkboard. "And we're going to have a quiz tomorrow" She added. "No assignment, no quiz. That's all. You may go. See you tomorrow."

Tongue-tied. The whole chalkboard was filled with tons of question. The students whined but the teacher ignored them and walked out of the classroom. One of the students brought his phone out and took a picture of the board.

"Hey! Send it to me" a girl yelled.

"Ok! Ok! I'll send it to everyone."

Later that afternoon, Nick got his phone back and went straight home.

He drove his Dodge Dart RT from the school to their home. He parked his car in their garage and got off the car. He walked straight to his room upstairs and changed his clothes.

He started by taking his shirt off. Then he stood in front of the full size mirror in his room.He can see his own whole body in front of the mirror. Just like the past days and months, he has been admiring his astonishing body that he have worked on for 3 months. He worked really hard to make that chest puff and those 6-pack abs pop. He stared at his body for a couple of seconds enjoying the product of his hard work. He smiled and started to take his pants off. Now he's only having his trunk shorts on. His smile got bigger.

To wake himself up, he slapped his face with both hands and said "that's enough nick. you already know you're sexy." He took his practice clothes and wore them on. After he wears his clothes, his phone rung and he answered it.

It's Janeb who's calling.

"Mm?"

"Come pick me up here at the book café near the school" Janeb ordered.

"Alright, I'll be there in 5 minutes"

"See you then. I'm hangin' up"

Nick quickly changed his clothes, wore his training shoes, picked his gym bag, got into his car and dashed to where Janeb is. They are going for their rehearsals. They are currently having their practices for the annual cheerdance competition in their school. They have been representing their college - the college of nursing, for 2 years and it's their third and last year to perform because they are now graduating this year.

Nick finally arrived at the café.

Janeb got into his car and said, "you're 3 minutes late!"

Nick didn't say anything and drove to the studio.

On their way to the studio where they do their practices, they were stopped at a red traffic light. And some pedestrians are crossing in front of them but among the pedestrians, a person stood out of them and nick was like astounded on what he saw.

It's a tall, sexy lady that made Nick's jaw drop.
