"Wake up, adoption day!" Mrs. Summers said.
"Yay. Another day to not get picked for a home!" I think to myself.
I go downstairs, sit on the couch, and watch O2L videos.
Suddenly I feel the couch move down and someone tap my shoulder.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"Looks like you know me already". Someone says.
"What do you mean?" I ask questionly.
"Turn your head."
I turn my head and start crying my eyes out. Everyone's looking at me, but I don't care!
"YOUR JC CAYLEN!!!"
"Yep!"
"What are you doing here!" Still in tears.
"I'm thinking of adopting someone."
"Hope you find someone great," I say with a sad voice.
"He won't adopt me, I'm a screw up," I tell myself in my head.
"I think I found her already!" Jc says.
"Congrats! I hope you enjoy her!"
"I will". "Sorry, I never caught your name", Jc says.
"Acelyn but I go by Ace", I say.
"Well Ace, come with me".
"Okayyyy", I say questionably.
Jc goes to the front desk and tells Mrs. Summers he's found the one.
"Who may that be?" Mrs. Summers asks.
"Acelyn," he says with a smile on his face.
I lose it. I start to cry my eyes out and hug Jc so hard. I scream thank you a thousand times. He hugs me back.
