Chapter 2

Hazel's POV

"Okay...well I'm pretty sure I'm now deaf in my right ear. Thanks Vi!"

"Anytime, Zel!" She squeaked as she slowly walked closer to him.

I was actually planning on watching her make a fool of herself because I needed a good laugh, but I thought it would be funnier if I had actually known who he was and I would've stayed if she walked faster...oh well.

Looks like I get to pick my room first!

I ran right through the heavy doors and ran right up the long staircase.

At the top of the staircase there were three halls.

One had double doors at the end and the other two just had single doors.

I walked past the double door hallway assuming it was the master bedroom.

I was so tired I went to the closest one, the middle one.

The door was white with a gold knob. People in England are so proper and fancy, I hate it. It's like everyone is rich here! Seriously why can't I still live in America.

Besides making my bed, I put about 3 months worth of clothing in the closet assuming we would be out of here by then.

Most of my belongings stay in boxes in the garages because I get tired of unpacking and packing again so I have 2 large duffle bags I put things I absolutely can't live without in.

Okay, I'm done packing. Now what?

I decided to go wonder around the house, mostly to find the kitchen.

The kitchen's so far away, and I'm so tired.

Ehhh I'll eat tomorrow and hide in my room tonight.

When I walked back into my room, I realized I had a balcony.

Haha I bet Vi doesn't have a balcony, good job Zel! I always talk to myself....this is why I don't have friends. Well also because I never have time to make any. Pshhh whatever, I've lived in every state except for Alaska and Hawaii, I think I should be used to being a outcast.

As soon as I stepped outside and onto the balcony I realized how cold it was.

I ran back inside and changed into some yoga pants and a hood, and grabbed my book. I know, I know reading for fun is lame, but for someone who has nothing better to do and doesn't have a social life, hey why not read instead of plan on running away or something stupid.

Walking back outside in my warm wear I realized how pretty it was, well except for the house next to mine blocking my view. Wait a sec is this...

I looked down to see famous boy smoking...great

Ignoring him is probably a smart idea.

On the balcony there was a little table with 2 chairs surrounding it with a flower pot in the middle. How cute.

Fun fact: I hate shoes, jeans, hair clips, and jewelry. I love the floor, and being in the air.

Yup, I love two very opposite things, but I'm high up now so why not get a little higher off of the ground.

I pushed one of the chairs against the wall and stood on it to see if there was a flat or decently flat surface I could relax on.

To my right, there was a semi-flat surface, above the window of my bathroom.

I should remind myself to close the curtains on that because right across from that is a window in 'what's his face' house.

Anyway....I set my book on the area and hopped on it and kicked the chair away.

As I started to relax, and opened my book, the door on from the house across from me opened.
