Bakery<3

A normal day, seeing him concentrating on the work given by the teacher. Oh, how I wanna pat his fluffy hair. And the fact I would even asks him questions just to get his attention. Dear god, how could you make someone seem so perfect to me?

" Auryn Valentine, you should really stop staring at Evren now." Miss Orlin said cupping her face with her hands, who knows how long she had actually been looking at me?

Evren didn't turn back though, what a pity. I would've love teasing him by saying "You're too handsome that I couldn't take my eyes off you." Well I should start working on the work now...

The bell rings indicating it's lunch time already. How should I start a conversation with him? I could talk about the book I've read yesterday but oh well, food first.

I look over to him seeing Maryl is talking to him. Oh god, your not making an enemies to lover right? I swear he hates her so much last year, I'm kind of jealous now. No, no! I'm not someone who can control to whoever he speaks with. I'm not even sure with my feelings of him, so why am I feeling jealous? Ignoring the thought I had, I try to distract myself by eating my lunch.

The school ended without me getting to utter a single word to him. I swear to god, why do I still feel jealous?

"Rynryn, do you wanna go eat at the bakery that just opened nearby? " I look over to where the voice came from and see Evren with a friendly smile on his face. I could feel my heart beating in happiness.

"Yeah, I would love too!" I smile happily while skipping over by his side.

"Are we gonna go by ourselves or are you inviting someone?" I questioned him out of curiosity.

"Well, Maryl asked me to go with her but she had a call from her dad and had to go. I wanna go see how the place is though and then I remembered how you love sweets so I decided to invite you with me." He said while walking up to me. My heart fluttered, I didn't know he would remember me telling him that.

"Wow, so you remembered? I thought you were leaving me hanging by a thread." I look at him while laughing. 

"Now that I think about it, I might." He walk ahead laughing seeing how my face dropped. I started to fake sulk, I love when we get to spend time like this.

"Come on, don't be such a baby. How could you even think of me doing that?" He went back to me and hugged me before picking me up on his back.

"W-wait!" I could feel my cheeks heating up before deciding to laugh it off and hug him by his neck.

We arrived at the bakery, the place looks like a cute cottage core themed shop. I could smell breads being baked from the kitchen. 

"Welcome to the bakery!" Said a man with a welcoming smile. He looks like he's in his early twenties. 

" If you want sweets you could see them there, at the counter. Or if you would like breads instead, you could have them fresh since I had just baked them." He said gesturing his hand at the display counter.

I glanced over to Evren, "What do you want?" 

"I'll take the sweets." He said smiling while turning his head to the counter.

"I'll take the sweets and two bread." I said while making a peace hand sign.

"Alright, you guys can look at the cakes first while I'll pack the breads." He smiles and walk away.

"Hmm, do you want the chocolate cake? It looks really delicious." I said while squating down, pointing at the chocolate cake.

"Yea sure, I'll have a tart too then." He said giving me a smile.

The chocolate cake has dark drizzle and some fresh looking strawberries on top. The side also has  a squirrel of whipped cream. It looks like it came from a fantasy movie.

"Did you guys picked what you wanted?" I look over to see the baker holding a bag of two fresh bread.

"Yeah, we had finish picking the sweets." Said April with a gentle smile.

The baker gave me the breads, we then picked a place to sit and decided to sit by the window since it's a windy day. He served us our order and gave us two cup of strawberry tea.

"Hey, would you mind telling us your name? The cake is delicious, I'll probably stop by a lot here." I asked while taking a bite of the cake. I don't know why it reminds me of my grandma. I should probably stop by at her house later.

"My name is Ejaz. I'll hope to see you stopping by often in the future, I promise I'll serve you the finest sweets. I'm glad you like the sweets." He gave me a happy gentle smile. Oh my, I'm starting to see him as an older brother I never had.

"I see, consider me visiting as a promise then." I return his smile.

"Well, my name is April and hers is Mika." April says joining the conversation.

I look over to him to see his cheeks has some whipped cream on it. He's so cute for what omg.

"You got some whipping cream there, silly." I chuckled, taking a napkin and wipe the whipped cream of his face.

I could see his face blushing out of embarrassment. 

"You guys seem close, are you guys a couple?" Ejaz asks which kind of caught April off guard.

"No! We're not." He says looking at Ejaz. I know he have anger issues but getting mad over that made me shocked a little.

"Ah, my bad then." Ejaz chuckled at his expression.

"Well, it seems like we're done eating. How much is it?" I said looking at the sweets then back at Ejaz.

"Hmm, all of them are 33 dollars but since you guys are really nice I'll take 24 dollars, you can also consider this as my apology for getting you off guard, April." 

"E-eh, you don't have to give us discount!" April said waving his hand at him as a sign of denial.

"Then, I'll consider it as free." Ejaz smile at him. I couldn't help but chuckled at the scene in front of me.

"I'll pay the 24 dollars, you can consider this as a gift I guess." I said smiling at April.

"No, I'm the one who invited you after all so why should you pay?!" 

I ended up convincing April to let me pay. I swear, sometimes  don't know if he puts up a mask in front of people he never denied me paying for him before, well sometimes. 

"Do you want to go visits my grandma house with me?" I finally speak breaking the awkward silence.

"Sure, I didn't saw her in a while." April said looking at me. I couldn't help myself anymore, he's just too cute.

I pat his head.

"I'm sorry you look too cute I cant help myself." I chuckled at him.
