Captains POV

I looked around for Steve since I couldn't find him and i wanted to talk to him about stuff, I saw him over with one of our new soldiers, I assumed Steve was talking to him about the work so I went over to them, when I got closer they seemed to be fighting about something and Steve seemed really upset, like on the verge of tears. "Okay what the fuck is going on?!" I asked standing in front of them as they looked at me. "Well, sofia-" "hold up. Who in the fuck is Sofia?" I cut him off, "How do you- ugh. Her duh." He responded pointing at Steve as Steve looked down a bit, I felt anger boiling up inside me knowing that Sofia was Steve's deadname and it made him extremely uncomfortable. I grabbed the transphobic bitch by the collar lifting him off the ground putting a gun to his head, "listen here you bitch, his name is Steve and he's a fucking man! He may be a pussy and he may not have a cock but that doesn't mean he's not a fucking man you got that you little shit?!" He hesitated before nodding. He probably came to the realization that if he didn't agree with me he'd die, "now when I put you down you better start fucking running and never come back" he nodded once again as I put him down and he started running. I looked at Steve who was still looking down, I walked over to him hugging him. He looked shocked to see me hug him but he hugged back smiling. "Your name is Steve and your a man, don't let anyone tell you otherwise and if they do let me know so I can kick the shit out of them" Steve laughed a little, "captain, isn't this a kinda.. Gay moment?" He asked "yeah but so are we dumbass"
