"Y-yes sir," I spot out Nicky Harper in the class of giggling students and realize he's staring at me, he quickly looks away and continues his math, " if you were listening to my lesson, miss y/n then tell me the equivalent of 8+1/2(20)" "Uh it's...x?" The class filled with giggles once again I looked down at my notebook page which contained nothing And suddenly, I woke up What a nightmare, Nicky Harper Liking me? I was really exited because today was my first day of cooking class, and I wanted to make a good first impression so after I got up at 5:00 am and got dressed I made breakfast which my schizophrenic brother tried to eat "OW!" He yelped as I smacked his hand away "It's not for you you little butt" "then who's it for?" "for my cooking teacher, now back away" ᔕ at school ᔕ I carried the breakfast to the classroom and the teacher was pleased, "Wow! I have never had a student come this early, nor come bearing gifts" I tried not to smile until, "You've just after mr. Nicky!" My heart sunk, I turned to the large cake on his desk and then, to Nicky freaking Harper I barely stopped my self from sticking out my tongue and flipping off Nicky I took my seat in the front row, Stupid Nicky with his dumb cake and his dumb timing and his IDIOT GIRLFRIEND Wait, why did I just think that, I don't care that he has a girlfriend, well I kinda do because his girlfriend, is- I mean- was my best friend, Paige, Paige and I got in an argument and the way she got back at me was dating Nicky, she knows I hate him, and she hates him too but she's putting on an act, in a way I feel bad for Nicky, he's never had a girlfriend, and what a great first experience that'll be when he finds out. The rest of the class walks in and surprise! None of them were smart enough to suck up! I know it's probably seems like a bad thing to be a suck up, but honestly it's great! You get more privileges and you get to sit in the teachers lounge sometimes! Sure, you might get bullied sometimes but I only suck up to the cooking teacher and my science teacher, I don't bother with my maths teacher, he hates everyone, and when everyone is seated, the class begins "Alright, no cooking today, just basics" the teacher said "My name is Gerry Sullivan, and I will be your cooking teacher" I raised my hand "Yes? Miss.." "Y/n sir," "Ahhhh ok! Please continue y/n" "When, pray tell, will we do any cooking?" "Well since it's Friday, we can start Tuesday!" "Wonderful sir!" "And, I think, since miss y/n and mr Nicky inspired me I will have you all bring in your finest cooking on Tuesday, I shall judge them!" I was Pleased he put my name before nickys, so, I payed attention to mr Sullivan and was very sad when the bell rang because cooking is my favorite class, of course I have straight A's in every class but none are better than cooking! "Wow y/n," came a drawling voice followed with some laughing I turned to see Nicky Harper and his idiot friends, I don't care how many times I have to say it but Nicky harpers friends are a bunch of stinking idiots! But anyway I tried to be nice because I was still in earshot of the mr Sullivan "Yes?" "I didn't know you were such a suck up! I just wanted to show him my cooking! But you made a whole breakfast" he said with a sneer I rolled my eyes "Hey, I have an idea!" Said one of his friends, I think his name was James "We should call her suckie suck up y/n" I don't k ow why but I did it I-I pounced, I think I broke his nose, I punched and I punched and I didn't stop until I was dragged off "So much for a suck up" said James from the floor, I just noticed all the blood on his face "Y/N WHY?" It came to my attention that the person holding me back was none other than mr Sullivan "I-I" I tried to talk, tried to say anything but, to be honest I didn't know why I did it, I think i did it as self defense but by the time I had managed to say "I don't know" I was already in the principals office, "I- I don't know what made me do it," "Well I'll have to call your paren- I mean dad," I looked down at me hands trying not to cry My mom died of lung cancer when I was a baby and my dads way of coping is abuse, I told the principal so, he knew of my mom before but never of my dad, so, he said he would still call but that I could go home with a friend of my choosing, and that he would call ahead and alert the parents, I was so surprised , no suspension, no detention, "You'll have a week of detention of course" Ok.. I may have though about that too soon So I texted my best friend Allison
