(Features an even younger version of my oc, Penny The Poltergeist, my batim toon oc. Also, the toons will be human, 'Bendy' is just a nickname for human!Bendy, a.k.a Ben. Not to mention Bendy and Alice are married, and Boris is Bendy's best friend/adopted brother.

Penny is Alice's niece.)

"What do we do? we've tried everything!" a woman sighed from the top floor of the sepia-toned house, barely being heard over the cries of a baby.
"I don't know, Al. Maybe try rocking her?" came the voice of a young man who sounded like he was from Brooklyn.
"Tried that" the woman replied tiredly, as she gently shushed her small charge, which did nothing to soothe the baby's cries.
"Ok, uuuuuh....what about singing? Singing usually works, right?" the brown-eyed male suggested, running his hands through his dyed black hair to recalibrate his thoughts.
Looking at his distressed wife, he could see tears threatening to bubble from her eyes, her lip beginning to tremble as she held the baby close to her heart.

"I tried that too, Ben. So did you. I dont know what to do now, or how to make her stop crying!" the woman whimpered, Ben holding her close to him with an arm around her waist.
"Hey, now. You're doing the best you can, Alice, ok? We just need a bit of extra help, is all. Hold on, lemme see if Boris will help out" Ben replied.
He gently wiped a stray tear from his wife's cheek, Alice giving a small sniffle as she rubbed her niece's back lovingly.
She watched in desperate hope as Ben opened the door and left the room, the man standing at the top of the stairs.

Ben looked downstairs, seeing the third housemate sitting down on the couch, watching the "News At 10", the living room clock showing that it was, in fact, 10pm.
The couple had been trying to get the youngest resident to sleep for over an hour now; perhaps even two hours!
Ben gave a whistle to get Boris' attention, the tall ravenette looking up and seeing Ben giving a slightly despserate wave.
Standing up, the poor devils were both still in their work clothes, Boris' boots still a little dusty from working that day.
While all three were voice actors for the Sillyvision studio, Boris worked a side-job on maintennance in the studio they all performed in, from fixing projectors to air vents.
For as long as Ben could remember, Boris loved tinkering with technology since they were teenagers, making the two jobs perfect for him.

Boris saw his buddy, who looked worn out, and exited the living room after turning off the TV.
His work boots gently thumped up the stairs during his quiet ascent, eventually reaching Ben and standing next to him; the poor guy looked as if he was about to fall asleep standing up.
Following the sound of the baby crying from the adjacent nursery, Boris walked to the open door and peeked in.
Ben stumbled in behind and lumbered in with a sleepy groan, Boris rapping gently against the door with his nails.
In turn, this made a distressed-looking Alice glance up at him and bid him entry.

"What happened in here? You two look dead on your feet" Boris enquired sympathetically, as Alice removed a trembling hand from the baby's back -making sure she was still supported- to wipe her mascara-laced tears away.
"Oh Boris" Alice sighed sadly, "Thank God you're here. Little Penny, here, isn't sleeping at all tonight. We've tried everything, but nothing's worked."
"Yeah" Ben croaked, rubbing his burning eyes.
"We did everything to try and calm her down; fed her, changed her, I read to her. Alice and I sang to her, and Alice rocked her. But...nothing. She's been crying non-stop tonight, and we don't know why."
"What do we do?" Alice asked, after Ben's explanation, gently bouncing to try and soothe Penny.
