Chapter 4

Everlee

I was in the middle of my 12 hour shift when I decide to take a smoke break, smoking helps my blood lust calm down. Kinda dulls it out a bit and keep it at bay till after my shift. I would have to call my supplier for some more blood since I was almost out. I was ok my phone smoking when I heard someone on 4 legs approaching and I hid.

They were sniffing around where Lucas was attack and they smelled like a rouge themself. I kept myself hidden as they left. I was surprised to see that they were in their wolf form in broad daylight but the back of the hospital was pretty hidden so.

I found it weird that they came back to this place though, what were they looking for? I decide to call the pack hot line to transfer me to the Mayhem pack.

"Beta Lucas" he answer with a gruff voice  and I felt my south region act up again. "Lucas it's Everlee" "oh hey? What's up?" He sound more gently. "There was a rouges here at the hospital sniffing around. It was where you was attacked" I said "what the hell? Okay I'll come by" I've said and I agreed and got back to my shift.

I was tending to a patient who was in a coma when Lucas barged in. Security and my nurses were trying to stop him. I giggled and told them it was okay. "You could've told me you was coming up and I would've let them know" he smiled and said "yeah but I wanted to surprise you" he said and I giggled again "how did you find me?" "Your scent. Vanilla and blood very unique" he said softly and I smiled.

"Well then Beta Lucas, what can I do for you?" I asked "I need details on what you saw and please call me Lucas" he said "I can't give a statement right now but I can after my shift. It ends in a few hours" he nods and hands me a pack business card. "Come to the pack lands and I'll get it there, I'll let the guards know you will be coming." "That's fine with me" and he nods and leaves but turns back around and says "I never told ya but your beautiful Everlee" and I felt my cheeks heat up again. "Well I never told you, but your handsome Lucas" I told him back smirking and he smirks back at me and leaves.
