**Peyton's P.O.V.**
First day back at practice, since 8th grade football. High school football is going to be so much fun, I can't wait till we start playing games.
Football is my life, even though I don't play football it's still my life.
I'm an athletic trainer at Davison Day High School, I'm 14, and peanut butter is life!
Me and my best friend; Abby share the same season. She's on color guard, the thingy with the flags and stuff, and she's dating this really cute junior that I'm so jealous of but she's so beautiful.
How could he not date her? But they been friends since forever.
I couldn't do that cuz I would smack a person in the face with a flag or drop it on my toe. So I just stuck with football.
I don't really worry about guys, I mean if they like me and I like them then I don't know. I never had a boyfriend.
"Peyton we got to go, or you'll be late for football practice!" my mom yelled from down stairs.
"Coming" I said will looking in the mirror one last time. I had my hair in a side braid with a cap on, and I was wearing black athletic shorts, a bright hot pink athletic tank, and bright pink nike running shoes. What can I say I like being bright.
I ran down the stairs and jolted to the car.
My mom got in the car and pulled out of our drive way. I was kinda nervous actually.
"What's wrong sweetie?" My mom asked.
"I'm really nervous."
"Why?"
"I don't know, I guess I just don't want to screw up I guess."
"Honey you'll be fine just be positive, if something goes wrong the man up stairs has your back."
After she said that I looked down at my two necklaces and hold them. One is my mom's graduation necklace that's shaped in a diamond star shape, with two diamonds at the side points. Then the other necklace is a cross that says "Walk By Faith Not By Sight."
When we arrive at practice I see them setting up for practice, I tell my mom bye and I love her. Then I walk to the training room.
The training room is where players get taped, ice baths, checked at, rehab, and get ice for their injuries.
I saw new faces of trainers, and I saw my coach for the athletic trainers. I couldn't wait for this season.
After we greeted each other, we started setting up the water cows, bottles, tape/medicine bag, and etc.
After we were done the football players came out from their meeting and ran to the practice field.
I just love seeing the players put in hard work for the upcoming season, then someone snapped me out of my train of thought when I was pushed to the ground.
The player helped me get up when I started to brush myself off.
"Are you okay?" A smooth voice asked.
"Oh yea I'm fine." I said looking into crystal blue eyes.
We made eye contact for a good minute, his eyes you can just get lost in. His smile was so beautiful, our moment broke when one of the coaches yelled, "GRIER!"
He smiled and ran to the small group with the quarter backs.
Ashleigh, one of the trainers came up to me and said, "Oooo girl he likes you!" As I began to blush.
"No he doesn't." I say playfully hitting her arm.
"Well y'all we're looking and smiling at each other for a good two minutes."
"We were?"
"Yea. Y'all were cute."
I blush even more.
"Girl you know you like him, your face is rose red!"
I started covering my checks, I look over to were the crystal eyed, dark headed boy was, to see him just looking at me.
I then walk to where I have to go and stay there for the rest of practice, with a question in my head. "Does he really like me?"
