*°• The night sky looked brilliant. Soft blue hues mixed with the purple and pink horizon. The full moon reflected its celestial light on the beautiful face of the young teen girl. Her green eyes shined brightly as she perched on the couch with a book. The book was her mother's, 'A Mystery About Underworld'. Her straight raven black hair flowed in a rhythm with the blowing wind. •°*
Being an extrovert as she is, never tried reading a book, but tonight was exceptional. Artemis, her mother was busy with auror work and she also has to keep an eye out for Sirius Black who has escaped not so back ago. While Azhar, her father comes from an old Indian witch family. It is rumoured that he practices dark magic away from his family as his ancestors practised it and were very bad dark witches and wizards. But that was not possible because Artemis herself would kill him if he did anything like that. Both of them were away tonight for some kind of business. Lorelei chose to stay home. Her eyes flickered to look at the sky as she slowly made her way to the small but spacious balcony. She decided to stand on her balcony and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.
Being a teenager is amazing and quite challenging. You have to deal with many shitheads now and then. People don't understand them. Teenagers have so many issues that look easy but are too difficult. She left Beauxbatons last year and already got her Hogwarts letter. She will be attending her third year. She was rather not excited after seeing how boring Beauxbatons was. Always Discipline and Discipline. But little did she know many challenges were waiting for her in Hogwarts.
She felt surreal as her beady green eyes roamed around the near forest. Suddenly a strange dog howl startled her. It was more of a wolf howl, but whatever it was, it scared the living heck out of her. She quickly went inside and closed her balcony door. Her heart beating faster as she made her way to the bathroom and got ready for bed.
The next morning the sun rays glistened on the cream-colored walls of Lorelei's room. Her beautiful sleep was disturbed by her cat, Leo which snuggled on her chest. She kissed her cat which made him slap her with his paw. She looked at him disbelievingly but got up and went to her bathroom. She showered and brushed her teeth. She stared at herself for quite a long time to get bored. Messy hair, puffy eyes. What a nice way to start the day. Today was of course her first day at Hogwarts. She decided on light clothing.
Checkered brown trousers, a coffee-colored sleeveless top, and lastly a light brown coat to shield her from the London wind. Her style was always admired back in Beauxbatons. Her look was a little neutral compared to her excited self. She proceeded to go downstairs to greet her parents but to her dismay, she found no one.
She had her breakfast, which was delicious pancakes with blueberry syrup. Yes, the blueberry syrup was a recipe of her grandmother. She got out of her house mansion to be greeted by Frank, her driver. He was like a family member. Leo fashionably was on her hand. Its white fur is perfectly styled.
He was a muggle. Azhar didn't like him that much and used to scold him for small matters. But Artemis never lowered him. The Ferrari drove through the narrow roads of London. If you are thinking why don't they have a magical car or something, they do but it was broken a while ago so they have to go through disguise for a while. As they finally reached King Cross Station she climbed down and thanked Frank, who politely nodded and drove away. Lorelei clutched onto her trolley handed as she walked confusingly. She asked the muggles where the King Cross Station was. There were looking at her weirdly. But suddenly she spotted the placard of 9¾. But there was nothing but a wall. She was clueless. A family full of redheads stood beside her bickering and quarreling. They looked so familiar. The infamous Weasleys. But there was a boy with messy raven hair and round glasses. She hesitantly went to them and asked, "Excuse me? Do you mind me asking, where is the platform 9¾?".
