It was three o'clock in the afternoon and Niall was bored out of his mind. He figured the pub would be a nice idea to pass some time, anxious for the Sugarscape interview on Friday.
He threw on clothes that he picked out, and by chance, they matched.
Finishing up with combing his hair and brushing his teeth, he skipped downstairs to see Harry on the couch playing Fifa with Louis, but Louis was elsewhere, leaving Harold on the pause screen.
"Where 'ya off to?" Harry asked, relatively curious due to the fact that Niall doesn't go out much on weekdays. "Off to the pub." Niall replied, briefly. Harry thought that Niall was driving, which would definitely put him in a bad situation. But Niall was smarter than that. Harry's demeanor changed and he donned a frown. "Please tell me you're walking. I don't want you to get hurt."
Niall's eyes went wide. "Of course!" Harry let out a hearty chuckle. "Good. Got me proper scared there." Niall went over and patted his shoulder. "I won't be there long."
"Okay, stay safe!" Harry yelled before Niall headed out the door.
(McCormick's Pub. London.)
Aria (Camilla Luddington) walked into the pub that she has never been into, not knowing much about London or that a celebrity was in the bar. She took a seat beside Niall, not paying attention to the bodyguard that was eyeing her. She ordered a pint with fish and chips, which was the same thing Niall ordered.
Niall was looking at her every now and then, not knowing if he should approach her, though they weren't very far from each other. Aria would take quick peeps at him. She thought how attractive he was.
Niall finally made a move and tapped her on the shoulder lightly. And almost instantly, Niall's hands grew sweaty, and he almost froze up as she slowly turned around and smiled it him. "Hm?" Aria hummed.
"Hey...I'm Niall Horan." He wiped his hand on his pants quickly and slowly extended his arm out. She smiled and shook his hand in return. "Aria Smith. Nice to meet you, Niall." Niall felt a knot in his stomach and he cleared his throat. "Listen. I think you're absolutely stunning, you might be way out of my league, I have no clue but would it be a problem if I could probably have your number?" After the short speech, Niall gulped, awaiting an answer from Aria.
"Yes, you can have my number. And no, you aren't out of my league." She chuckled a few times on the last part. Niall pulled out a piece of paper and had a pen on him, he always had a pen with him just incase fans wanted things signed.
She scribbled down her number with a sweet note and handed the pen and paper to Niall with smile.
He smiled and took the note gladly.
And for the rest of the time at that pub Niall and Aria shared common interests and had a great time together. Little did they know, it was the start of something new.
