Sarah Johnson (p.o.v)

A statement of simple fact "school sucks." I was about to land my face flat on the desk before the last bell saved from the little embarassment.

I always play a low-key in my class. No gaining attention unless you wanna get into the school drama. I have many more important things to accomplish in my little life.

There's this thing it may seemed that iam not interested in studies or the person who hates to be called as an nerd. But no it's just that my interests lie somewhere eles for that matter and that would be an explanation for some other time. So it always being my dad's choice in deciding my future. He always wanted me to know more about the business and he wanted me to take care of his company after him as iam the only child for him. So that would be leaving no choice for me. I don't complain though.

He just wanted someone to look after his company and maintain its standard as of now. The time I spent with my dad can be easily countable and it wouldn't last even for an hour. That would be involving just to order me something about my future and my behaviours towards other people after all iam a daughter of Robert Johnson. He keeps his reputation as his first priority no matter what. That makes me to behave accordingly to my father's desires. I know that's hard but iam use to it as you can see.

Everyone in school thinks iam a brat and them knowing about my father and his doings doesn't make it any less. My mom tries hard to do a little talk whenever she gets the chance...but that's for no avail.

I understand she is just trying to be nice and make little talk while silence in the room reaches its peaks. She tried to make up for dad's absence several times. It feels good to know atleast one of your parent is trying to make me feel better. This just became routine after some days. The same drama is going on from my childhood.

When my dad says something, huh..no.....!!!! it would be more appropriate to say when he orders something. There's no denying the words which came out from of his mouth. One day he just informed me that I would be studying business after my high school. That didn't suprise me actually. Because he never knew where my intrest lied and he would be least concerned about my choice. It would just be a waste of energy explaining anything to him. Maybe talking to a unsound person would make some sense atleast.

Today is my last day of school and there's nothing or no one I would miss out when I go to university except for one person I guess. Is saying completing my high school is an achievement for me would be an overstatement?

I was making my way to the parking lot and I noticed a figure walking towards me, making stop gestures with his hands. The figure would be non other than my best friend Tyler. Yeah I made a bestfriend. High school is impossible without atleast having one best friend right? So to put on a simple way Tyler talked to me at first. I kinda liked his vibe and started hanging out with him.

The guy has a decent record in the school. Number 1) he is not a bully 2) he  always makes me smile and 3) he is not scared of my dad. Third reason is the one I liked him for more. No one in the school tries to talk to me for some reason which Iam truly not for. They just think iam intimidating and powerful like my dad and I won't go easy on people who mess with me and I use my power as a daughter of Robert Johnson. That I would do no such thing for sure.

Reasons people never approch me would be obviously my dad. Apparently they think my dad is powerful and very intimidating and doesn't bother to have concern about his own family. Then why he would bothers about others. No one tries to mess with him and his doings for that matter. Tyler was the one person who just didn't bothers about my family or background. He just saw me as a highschool girl and started talking. At first people gave him worried looks but that came to normal when days passed. He was just cool and carefree and I loved to hang out and spent time with him.
