My unforgotten love

Some months has passed since Eren had been abandoned at the house, it almost felt like Jean had vanished in thin air since no call or text message as been sent his way. Suddenly remembered how alone he really was, he thought he actually had real friends at his school but all they wanted was to be his friend because of Levi.

laying there on on the couch made his thought run wild, suddenly making him think about his ex, and how happy he was back then. How he used to make Eren smile, how Levi used to comfort him when Eren was sad. He had always been there by Erens side when he needed him, but now he was gone.

*I wonder what he's been up to these days? Have he really forgotten me and moved on with his life?*

"No i shall not think about him ever again, he broke your heart Eren! Remember!? Stop it!" He sat up in the couch ruffling his hair in anger, he didn't want these feelings of his ex enter his mind.

Eren stood up from the couch trying to think about something to do, wanting these thoughts to go away, but alas nothing. Rolling his eyes he decided a typical walk would probably do the trick, to clear his head better and get on track to figure out where Jean would be.

Walking outside almost made him regret his decision, the cold wind greeting him making him shiver. White fluffy snowflakes were seen dancing in the cold but calm wind.

The sky was getting darker as time passed by, and because of the drop in temperature, and luckily for Eren he noticed a a nearby lit up bookstore. He smiled to himself as he ran up to it knowing it was still open, he smiled while entering.

Already walking in he was greeted with the warmth and the typical smell of old paper. An older lady was sitting at the checkout.

"Welcome dear" She gave Eren a warm smile.
"Thank you" He smiled back while replying back.

He walked deeper into the store looking around at all the books around him, trying to find something interesting. Thankfully there was almost no people here, probably because of how late it was but he didn't mind it one bit. The calm atmosphere made Eren feel at peace.

Finally after looking for a while he finally found a few books that interested him, Eren decided it was enough so he walked up to the checkout. Eren payed the kind lady and walked outside once more getting ready for the cold once again.

After going out and buying these books made it seem like Eren had finally moved on from his thoughts about Levi, smiling to himself he almost didn't notice a few dark figures making their way towards him, he could see ropes and iron pipes in their hand. Feeling scared you tried to move your body, clenching the plastic bag in your hand but it was no use, his body felt heavy and stuck like glue.

"What the hell do you want?!"

The boys laughed at his response.

"We were just bored and wanted to play with you, that's all" One of them spoke and spat on the ground.

"Oh hell no! I'm not in the mood playing with you, I'm going home" He told them, trying to make them go away and leave him alone.

Another one of the guys started to walk even closer to Erens small body, and suddenly Eren could feel himself getting control of his body again so without hesitation he turned around and ran away from the bad guys.

"Ey come back here!" the same guy yelled after him.

Everyone started running after Eren in full speed, he cursed himself for having to carry these heavy books almost making him slower, but he didn't have time to think about that right now in this situation.
