Part 1: Meeting Pico (Emperor Pilaf Saga)

Disclaimer: (This first part will be VERY long, due to me just wanting to skip through this saga in one go, partially because I think it would just be stretching it out if it was split in two; so feel free to skim through. Also I'm not particularly good with writing song lyrics, so please provide feedback in the comments on how I can improve! It will help a lot, so enjoy the story and further parts!)

In her capsule car, Bulma is driving along the grasses of Mt. Paozu, following the blip on her Dragon Radar to the next Dragon Ball. She was accompanied by a orange-haired teen in green that was looking for the Dragon Balls as well, also serving as Bulma's bodyguard for the journey. The boy didn't like her attitude, and he mainly focused on getting the Dragon Balls for himself. Thankfully, they were close to their third ball.

"How long until we get there?", Pico said, looking outside. "We've been going in circles for hours! This better be it." Bulma was quick to reassure him. "Don't worry Pico, we should be there in second...", Bulma said, looking at her Dragon Radar. Unknown to Bulma, she was about to have a head-on-head collision with someone... If it wasn't for Pico's quick thinking.

Goku was able to get out of the way, narrowly missing whatever came forward. To him, it seemed like a monster tried to attack him, and he went to get his Power Pole. Before Bulma could say anything, Goku began to lift the car into the air, with Pico going to the glove apartment. "I'll take care of whoever this is in a flash."  Pico then quickly whipped out his signature uzi, hopping out of the car and kicking Goku off the car as it fell to it's side. When he then got on the ground, Pico quickly fired.

Blam Blam Blam! To his shock, the person that he fired at seem to had taken the bullets like it was nothing, leaving Pico out of ammo. "Owww! What was that?", Goku said, rubbing his head as he quickly got up, seeing Pico. Pico was shocked too; no one should be able to take bullets head on! No one! "H-Huh? You shouldn't be back up!", Pico said, quickly reloading his uzi with another clip. "Whatever. Another smackdown should send you packing!" Pico then charged at Goku, with Goku charging back in response.

"You two! That is enough!"

Bulma quickly split the two up, grabbing them by their shirts since they were much shorter than her.  She quickly apologized to Goku for almost hitting him with the car, introducing herself. She asks where Goku was going, but Pico and Bulma quickly come to find out that Goku is more confused than they are, as he has never seen a car in his whole life. Putting two and two together, Goku asks if there from some sort of city, and both say yes. "Well, I am in a city, but definitely not this part of the globe.", Pico said. "But we can talk later. I'm only here fore one-"

Goku grabbed his uzi right out of Pico's hands, looking at it curiously. "Ok, but what is this?", Goku said, holding the uzi by it's nozzle. "This is a gun, specifically an uzi. I always carry one around with me.", Pico explained. "I keep it on me ever since that day... We can talk about that... later too." Goku then invites the two in for lunch, and Pico and Bulma accept. Bulma gets a capsule to put the car in, thankful that it wasn't too damaged. "Since the blip on the radar is down the road, maybe it's in this kid's house..."

Sure enough, when Pico and Bulma eat at Goku's small home, Bulma sees the Dragon Ball and immediately went for it. Goku refuses to give it to her, saying that his grandpa called Gohan gave it to him to remember him by. "So that's the last thing ya grandpa gave you, huh?", Pico said, thinking of what to do. "Alright. Even though your grandpa would like you staying, there's lots more to see Goku, and I think your grandpa would be happy if you came out with us. He probably wouldn't all cooped up in here anyways. So why not come with us?"

"I guess so.... Where would we even start anyway, Pico?", Goku asked, putting the Dragon Ball in his pocket. Bulma then shows Goku the Dragon Radar, detailing it while they drove. With Pico intervening, the car that him and Bulma entered with is still ready to drive. This means that Bulma isn't forced to use Capsule No. 9, which contains the motorcycle that Bulma and Goku used in canon... before it broke down in the Diablo Desert.
