I scowl with anxiety at my wrist watch. I bit my forefinger.
Damn! I hate being stuck in the busy streets of the city with smoke and noisy honking. Yung walang kang magagawa but to stay put and wait and wait until it moves a little. A small hope that you'll surely arrive in your destination. I glance again at my wrist watch.
5:10 PM!
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko.
This is really frustrating! Kinuha ko ang phone ko. I pop up Go Msg App to text my friends if they are coming or what!
Ako: Where art thou fellas? I'm near Robinsons. Almost time.
I hit the arrow and sighed anxiously. Umandar ng mahina ang multicab and I thank divine providence for making it move for a meter.
Openning my bag, I scan the insides as I locate the tickets for the movie. My heart leaped to my throat when I couldn't find it. Kinabahan ako.
"Dito na po." Sigaw ng isang pasahero.
Napaangat ako ng tingin. Lalo kong nadama ang kaba when I saw the red big letter R sorrounded with sky blue, shine thru the sun's setting rays.
I turned my heels around and sighed in relief.
This is it!
Darn! Napangiti ako. I'm having goose bumps. I bit my bottom lip to prevent my shriek. Nakakahiya kasi baka mapagkamalan akong baliw.
"Hooo! Gonna see you now, Mr. Grey" bulong ko sa sarili, then bit my lip again.
My eyes almost bulge out from its socket when I saw the crowded area of the movieworld. Catching my breath, I manage to fall in line at the bottom part almost near the escalator.
And I can feel my hands trembling and cold. God! Am I still in the right equilibrium? Nakakabaliw talaga kasi. I've waited for three years just to watch this movie in the wide screen and to see how the book's characters come into life.
