Chapter 4- The connection

At Home

Later that evening after we got back from school, we made dinner then we sat to watch Once Upon A Time,this is Ann's best movie.

" Do you know I feel like have seen Derek somewhere more than once.... Or even twice but I don't know where exactly" I sighed in frustration, it felt like there is something I want to remember but I can't.

Annie burst into an uncontrollable laughter than got her holding her stomach, she didn't stop until fell down from the cushion. What's the with her,what did I say that is this funny.

After some seconds,she stopped laughing, "I know Derek is so irresistible and you feel like you know him more like the way I feel about Roy" she said looking into space and lost. The last time she told me she felt like this.....hmmm after they had sex, she stopped picking up his calls

"Hummmm.... I have a date by 7 with Roy and don't wait up for me, I'll be back tomorrow,I need to get dolled up" she stood and started having a dramatic dance to the stairs

"Seriously!! Ann so fast" I shouted behind her to get her attention which I did,

"Lil please, it's been 4months now since my Honeypot got cleaned up, I just want to be a woman again" I glared at her angrily...... " Lil!! You need to loosen up,gosh you're too uptight" then she left with a very skimpy purple dress with heels.

Derek P.O.V

Have been feeling very weak and loses control regardless, ever since I met the lady ( Lilith) at that care which I now avoid like plague,I feel incomplete and blank.

"You know what you have to do" heard Roy said unexpectedly behind me....

"it will get worsen if your mate is not close to you... the red moon is around the corner, you'll get more crazy if she is not close enough" he sat down on the cushion with wine in his hand.

I only have 2 options right now, one is either I get close to her and claim her or I get to loose my sanity and Respect for human.

Three Days later

During lecture I can't seem to get my eyes off her, she is so beautiful and perfect... Cleo the so called School queen fall for my charms well as if any human can resist me.

"Now! Stand up and pick a number" the lecturer said...

"You need her, get close to her" my inner camp whispered to my ears.
"I know, and I will just stay quiet of I were you!!! " I shut back at him mentally

She opened her paper it's 5,I saw all the numbers transparent to me. Then saw a guy almost pick up the supposed next paper that has 5,I used my super power to blow light wind and mixed the paper. So I stood up and pick the 5... I winked at the guy and I went back to my seat.

"Please who has number 5?" I heard her ask,then all class starts to pulling insult down her way her. "This humiliation is getting too much you have to stand up for her, She's our mate" he scream at me

I jots up like a person suddenly stung by an ant

" We are team mate!"

I don't know what got to me,I stood up and stand close to her, I felt her cheeks red up with anger or something else.

She turned and walked out the class then I followed her out the school.

I felt comfortable and stress-free being with her, so lost in my own thought all I knew was that she stopped outside the school gate and she left( I can't tell if it's through a bus or she treeked).

Overjoyed that I and my mate are finally close to her, I took my car key out my pocket and happily drove off.

The next day by 12pm, I waited at the sport arena for Lil then suddenly felt a sharp jag on my heart,I started feeling strange. Immediately without caution I ran to the direction where I felt the pull.

I was faced with a Rouge which was ready to pounce on my potential mate( have not claim her but soon I know I will) with his jugular, immediately he felt my angry presence and bloodshot red eyes... We took off to fight,after some minute I staked him and he vanished and I was filled with blood on a burn from the stake I used( I'm also a vampire but that's the easiest way to get rid of a vampire) Lilith turned to see me and fainted.

No one must find out what happened here, I picked up Lilith and ran with suppernatural speed to my mansion.

Breathing hard..... not from the race but from the realisation of the event......

I almost lost my mate today!!

"You can't afford to clear her memory again like the other times,it may go wrong now " Roy said firmly

"I... i know, I don't know what I should do now.... She saw me, all of me..... Like what I am" I said so stressed now. I can't afford to make her hate me like this.

Roy smiled at me like a human with a new plan....

" Calm down... I'll call Ann to assure her that her friend is safe...... She's a perfect girl she won't judge you"Roy left to call Ann.

I'll just die if I screw this little opportunity .....

After some hours, sitting on a chair in the room I later her to sleep, her voice jots me off my thoughts

"Where I'm i," Roy went in first smiling friendly then all colour drain from my face when she saw me

With a wild opened eyes and scares " what are you doing here, what are you. Please don't kill me !!" She started crying
