Part 38

Becki's POV

this is it. now they are going to see what i'm really like...well me and Tamara anyway. they aren't going to know what's hit them!

"wait how are we going to get into the house?" Tamara asked. hmmm that's a point...we didn't actually think about that.

"urmm the side door, if they are all sat in the front room, we could get in through the side door, and start it all there" i said. hopefully that will work.

"yeah alright, am i lighting it?" she asked

"yep you are" i said as we carried on the short walk to the house. 

we got the house and peered in. looks to me like most of them are in the living room. not to sure where the rest of them are though. 

we opened the side door and i walked in...i poured petrol as i did so. Tamara waited at the entrance for the signal to light the match. i could hear murmurs coming from the living room and upstairs. hopefully none of them hear or see me. i saw Max and Keira join the others. i soon finished pouring the petrol and gave Tamara the signal....now to make my way out.

Max's POV

i'm not as mad at Keira as i should be. i can't really moan at her because i'm just as bad. the only thing that has upset me is the fact she's pregnant. i went into the spare room where she was sat crying.

"Keira i'm not mad at you, i'm just upset that your pregnant" i said calmly sitting down next to her.

"i'm sorry Max, i really am!" she said lifting her head to look at me.

"i know...we need to sort out if your going to keep the baby or not" i said holding her hand. i don't wanna lose, and if that means treating the baby like my own then i will.

"Max, i'm keeping it" Keira said.

"i don't wanna lose you, so if that means taking the baby as my own then i will" i said looking into her eyes. a small smile appeared on her face.

"really?" she asked.

"really" i said and then pulled into a hug.

"come on lets going downstairs" i said taking her hand and leading her out the room. 

Megan's POV

"what's that smell?" i asked

"i'm not sure smells like something is burning" Tom said. i looked around and saw, what looks to be a fire. before i could tell anyone there was a huge bang. smoke was everywhere. i tried looking for anyone else, but failed. i heard a few screams and some of the others coughing, but none of them was to be seen. i felt a sharp pain in my stomach. i screamed out hoping one of the others would hear me. i felt someones hand grab hold of mine, i looked to see who it was. i could just make out the face. it's Tom.

"Megan, whatever you do, don't let go of my hand" Tom said as we carried on running to find an exit. the smoke began getting thicker and i started to find it hard to breath, as was Tom by the looks of it. 

Nathan's POV

i managed to get out of the house, and so did some of the others. we all stood there on the other side of the road, looking to see who was still in there. me, Jay, Kira, Max, Beth, Siva and Keira all stood there watching the flames tear through the house. Siva had already phoned for a fire engine and an ambulance. obviously knowing we're going to need one. that means Tom, Megan and Danielle are still in there. i began running towards the house, but got pulled back by Jay.

"what the hell! why you going back in there?" he practically shouted.

"in case you haven't realised Danielle is still in there and so is Megan and Tom, they need our help, as the fire engine isn't even here yet!" i said, pulling out of his grip.

"wait, i'm coming with you" he said following me.

i can't really say not to. we made our way into the house. Jay stayed downstairs to try and find Megan and Tom and i went upstairs to find Danielle. the smoke got less intense the higher you went up. i found our room eventually and kicked the door down. surprised i managed to do that if i'm honest! i went in and found her. she was drifting in and out of consciousness. i picked her up and began looking for a way out. i have to be quick, as the floor can cave in at any moment. i opened the window and called down to the others.

"quick, help me get her out" the others heard and Max, and Siva came running in my direction.

"how you gonna get down?" Max called.

"no idea, but i have to and quick" i said panicky. the only option left is to jump...

just as i was about to the fire engine pulled up and some guys came running over to us with a ladder. they took Danielle from my arms and just as they came back up for me, the floor caved in and i fell straight to floor. everything soon went black...

Jay's POV

the fire roared even worse than before. i stumbled around trying to find them. it's hard to see anything through all this smoke! the heat became even more intense the further i went in. i heard someone coughing, so i followed the sound. eventually i found Tom gasping for air.

"get...Megan...out" he said, pointing towards her.

"what about you?"

"i'll follow" i did what he said and carried Megan back out to the others. she was hardly breathing...

as soon as we got out, Siva came running straight over to me and took her from my arms.

"thanks mate" he said.

"anytime". i looked back to see where Tom had got too. looks like he didn't make it out. i turned to go back in to get him, but the roof caved in...it's too late.
