Ok, this is my first ever KeithxReader-or AnyonexReader for that matter-so expect there to be some mistakes, a LOT of cringe, and horrible writing🤣🤣🤣😭😂😁

Ok, Y/N means Your Name, so you would use your own name, or if you are too lazy for that like I am, you can simply call the character Yaname🤣😭🤣🤣 H/c means your hair color, h/l means your hair length, e/c means eye color, N/N means a nickname for yourself, and f/c means favorite color. Oh and POV means Point of View.

I smirked as I dodged a blast from a shock gun. "Get back here thief!" The merchant yelled angrily. I shook my head, an orange(I don't know what aliens call them it will be a god damn orange) clutched in my hands. I eventually lost them and sat in an alley to eat the fruit. My one meal of the week.

I guess this life isn't
so bad, I just kinda want a real home.

I got up and ran to my small, rusty ship. As I climbed in, I waited to make sure the area was relatively clear of people before taking off.

the old ship's engine stuttered a bit before it reeled off into space. I looked out on the peaceful stars, and after a little while, I noticed there was coming up on a planet that looked peaceful and calm. I ignored it and went on, but when I went to steer around a meteor, the controls froze. "MOVE DAMNIT MOVE!" I screamed.

But it was too late.

The meteor slammed into the ship, sending it plummeting towards the ground. All I could hear was my own screaming, and all I could see was the ground rapidly coming closer and closer towards me. Then I hit the ground.

"Hey! Hello?" A voice called. I blinked open my eyes, squinting them again as dust got in them. I started to push myself up, but a blinding pain went through my left arm as soon as I put weight on it, and I yelled in pain. "Someone is definitely here!" I heard the voice again.

"Yeah, no shit Hunk." I liked that person.

"Jeeze Keith, calm down!" Ah, so 'Yeah no shit Hunk' Guy's name was Keith.

"This tech is really poor, no wonder the controls faulted." That confused me. How did they know my controls malfunctioned?

Another voice, this one another male and sounding older than the rest, started talking. "Stop criticizing the ship and find the person!" Soon enough, as predicted, a tall teenage male with black hair and odd, almost indigo eyes came into the small pilots' area and immediately ran over to me. "Hey! Are you ok?"

I tried to nod, but a really bad pain in my neck stopped me. "Yeah, just peachy." I retorted instead. The voice seemed to be the Keith guy, so I decided it was him. Keith smirked. "Guys, I found her!" He called. He looked back to me and helped me sit up, only then noticing my arm, which was twisted at a very odd angle in the middle of my forearm. A concerned look crossed his face only for a second until he covered it up again.

Ah, one more thing. I'm great at reading people. It often causes me to doze because I'm constantly looking at peoples' personalities.

I looked at his features and studied his face. A loner, one hundred percent. Feels most comfortable in any type of battle, mainly physical. Looks stubborn and fiery.

I looked up as four people came in. A short teenage girl about my age dressed with green armor and glasses came first, then a guy dressed in blue, and after was a kind-looking one wearing yellow. The last one to come in was an adult, he had black hair except for the front, which was white. He smiled. "Hey there. I'm Shiro, may I ask what your name is?" I looked at him, and couldn't stop the reading. Kind, generous, great leader. Tries to avoid violence and just wants peace. Bad past...can't quite access memories though(Yes that's a thing you can do)

I felt a hand gently shaking my shoulder, and looked up to see Keith looking at me with a worried expression, not bothering to hide it. "You good?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah, sorry. It's a thing that happens to me. When I meet someone new I almost do a reading, kind of, and I just immediately know their personality. I can't control it. Oh, and my name is Y/N."

Shiro nodded. The short one gasped as she saw my arm. "We need to take her to a healing pod!" The rest of them nodded. I looked around confused. "Um, may I ask YOUR names?" They all grinned sheepishly. The short one spoke first. "I'm Pidge. Great to meet you!" The new In yellow was next.

"I'm Hunk. It'll be great to get to know you. The blue one was next.

"Hey, I'm Lance McClaine. How you doin' beautiful?" I rolled my eyes. Keith was already glaring at him, and Shiro had a hand over his mouth.

"Sorry about him, he has a...flirtatious sense of humor," Shiro said slowly. Keith was next. "Lance doesn't have a flirtatious sense of humor, he just doesn't know when to shut up! I'm Keith, it's good to meet you Y/N."(If you know that altered reference I will follow you and vote every chapter of your every story) I cackled under my breath, but Keith noticed and his smirk grew. I went to stand up, but apparently, my leg was broken or at least dislocated, because it hurt like hell. I bit back a hiss of pain, but again, Keith noticed. I suddenly realized he had pointed ears, which made for amplified hearing(This is a version where Keith has a few minor Galra features that are just there. Such as pointed ears and short, slightly duller than normal Galras' fangs)

He reached his arm under mine and over my shoulders, offering support. I accepted, and we all walked(And limped) back towards a tall, white castle. inside was gorgeous and modern. I was sent with Pidge to clean my wounds because she was one of the only other girls, and the one said usually did medical wounds was busy. Pidge sat me down and talked as she cleaned my many small scratches.

"So, do you have a family?" She asked. I shook my head. "I kind of knew my mom, but nothing of my dad. I've been on the streets the past three years, one meal a week, if any." Pidge looked up at me, shocked. "One meal a week!?" She gasped.

I nodded sheepishly. Pidge suddenly dashed off and returned a few minutes later with a large bowl of green goo. " She looked a little embarrassed she had nothing else to offer. "It's all we have on the ship, sorry." I smiled. "Nothing to be sorry about! I haven't had a real meal in at least three months. I only get one when the occasional kind merchant passes through whatever town I'm in." As I ate, Pidge found me a healing pod suit and helped me change in, as I had no idea what a 'zipper' was or how to use it. I cautiously stepped into the healing pod, and everything went black as Pidge closed it.
