CHAPTER 1 | OLD & NEW DAYS |

You were on the swing, playing by yourself in the playground while the breeze was making your hair fly. You saw a red rose stuck in a sakura tree (cherry blossom tree). You tried to get it but a red haired child got it before you. He seemed to be the same age as you, you were kinda disappointed but something unexpected happened. He gave you the red rose, you were shocked and blushed like a tomato. He asked "Is something wrong..?'. You replied stuttering "I-Uh uh of course not! Uh why did you give it to me..?'. He didn't reply and he just starting walking away from you, deep inside you wanted to play with him on the swings but you were scared he might get pissed at you. You still called out for him and said 'WAIT! I-IM SORRY....Please play with me..". He looked back at you and your stomach started to have butterflies inside. You somehow felt like something indescribable happened but it was a good kind of indescribable feeling. He finally said yes and you two played. You two actually had a good time but then the sun was about to set. Daycare time was almost over but finally you made a friend and it was a boy, you wanted to play with him more but your mother was here to fetch you already. You started to cry and your mother said "Y/N WHATS WRONG???". The red haired boy unexpectedly hugged you, your mother was shocked and when your mother saw the boy's mother it turned out that the two mothers were childhood bestfriends too! The boy's mother looked tired but still beautiful. Your mother tried to calm you down and then the red haired boy said "Please dont cry, it's not worth crying if you can just smile and be happy!". You felt calmed down and delighted that your new friend comforted you. Then your mother talked to the boy's mother. While they were talkin the boy asked you "uh hi i'm..Diluc pleased to meet you, what's your name?". You replied "Oh, it's y/n and uh t-thats a n-nice name Diluc..". He blushed slightly and then you two just talked until the mother's were done with their conversation, the daycare was about to be closed then they were finally done talking. It turns out Diluc's mother was poor and tried her best to give a good life to Diluc and she is saving money to give Diluc something amazing for him! You felt bad for him and his mother and you tried your best to help him by creating a lemonade stand every weekend and you gave half of the money to Diluc and the other half to you. You remembered when it was the first time to make a lemonade stand you had a lot of determination but then you started to get tired so Diluc made the stand for you instead so you can rest. It was one of the best memories ever but then after a few months pass diluc went missing. You asked your mom "Where's Diluc mother??? HES MISSING!". Sadly your mother replied "honey...he is gone, he moved to mondstat...". You replied crying "WHAT WHAT WHAT, NONONONO....D-D-DILUC KUNN...". Your mother replied "i tried to not talk about Diluc that much with you because i knew it would break your heart but he gave you a letter before he left to the Inazuman bus station, here...". You snatched the letter and ran to your room with tears in your eyes, crying sobbing with sadness but when you opened the letter you felt like you had a heart attack....the letter said

                                                               DEAR Y/N CHAN, I'M SORRY.

Dear y/n chan,

your my childhood bestfriend, i'm so sorry y/n chan after all those happy memories, after all the effort it just got shattered? Don't worry y/n chan i will try and find you again and i also have something to say i-i guess i kinda love you....stay safe. Remember it's not worth crying if you can just smile and be happy!

You felt sad, shocked but atleast he and his mother are having a good time in Mondstat, mondstat is the city of jobs after all! That's where a lot of celebrities get started! But here in Inazuma it's the city of where everything has bad luck...even in the news a lot of Inazuma's banks are robbed. I guess that's why Diluc's mother wanted to go to Mondstat. I mean bad things rarely happen there. B-But if he really loved me why did he have to go...?

                                                     YOUR FLASHBACKS FINALLY ENDED

Man did i remember all those flashbacks again? Dang thats the 56th time....i probably cried myself to sleep, i'll just try to forget it...then a weird noice started happening, it was your alarm clock! It's your first day of school in a new town, in Mondstat. Your mother said 'Y/N! IT'S A NEW DAY FOR A NEW BETTER LIFE HUNNNN!". Huh? You replied. Your mother said "Don't you remember? Last week we moved to mondtsat and i said you should be ready for Oceanid Academy!". You instantly remembered what she said and you forgot all of that Diluc flashbacks in a snap! You quickly took a bath and changed into your uniform. Then you ran downstairs to get 4 loafs of bread and got your lavender school backpack. As you were about to open the door waiting for that Mondstat breeze to blow your hair and face your mother said "Hun i think you forgot something.". You instantly remembered and softly laughed. You forgot to kiss your own mother! You kissed your mother swiftly and ran outside to the bus station, you just got there in time and you sat on a window seat. A brown haired girl with ponytails sat next beside you, she said "KONICHIWA! The name's Hu Tao! How about you??". You were shocked, you never knew someone that confident and extroverted but you replied in a friendly way and said "Uh its y/n and thats a unique name!". She replied "OF COURSE BESTIE!". WHA-you replied. She said "We're besties DUH! Besides you seem like a cool person anyways...". You two talked and talked and it felt like you two were bestfriends from other universes. Then it was finally time to go to Oceanid Academy!

The school was huge and there was so many towers and hallways! When you entered the academy you felt lost and didn't know where to go! Then she walked off with her sassy cat ears, you thought "since when is there a cat girl?! either way i should better back off.....".
