"Mama, where is Papa?" a 4-year old Crusher asked, tilting his head as he watched his mother hung up on the phone.

"G-Gone..." Celestia trembled, tears rolling down her cheek as she turned to her son and pulled him into a hug. "Oh, Crushy... your father... he... he's gone..."

"Gone...?" Crusher looked confused by the word and scared for how his mother was acting. "W-What does that mean, Mama?"

"Oh, Tia..." Melanie drove over and embraced her daughter.

"Grammy, what going on?" Crusher asked, glancing at his grandmother as comforted his mother.

Melanie glanced over at him with a frown before pulling away from her weeping daughter and moving to her grandson. She took him into her tires and pressed a kiss on his forehead.

"Oh, Crushy..." she spoke with a sigh. "Your father... he already went bye-bye,"

"Papa go... bye-bye?" Crusher's eyebrows furrowed as he felt tears roll down his cheeks. "Papa... not coming back...?"

"I'm sorry, Crushy," Celestia sniffled as Melanie handed him over to her. "Shh, shh, now, now. Don't cry..."

Crusher hugged his mother and sobbed as the rain poured heavily outside to match the dreadful news of the day...

"Grammy, where Mama?" a seven-year old Crusher drove to his grandmother, who was cooking in the kitchen.

"She went out to buy something, sweetie," Melanie assured him with a smile. "Don't worry. She'll be here soon,"

"I wanna play with Mama..." Crusher whined. "And Mama promise to race with me for the tournament tomorrow..."

"Oh don't worry, baby," Melanie chuckled and patted his head. "I'm sure she'll be here any time now,"

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Coming!" Melanie drove out of the kitchen to answer the door.

Crusher blinked, watching his grandmother before turning to get something to eat from the fridge. He had opened it and had just gotten a bottle of milk when he heard his Grammy scream from the front.

"NO! THAT CAN'T BE!"

"Grammy?" Crusher zoomed over to the front door to see his grandmother crying while a police truck was at the door. "Grammy, what's going on-"

"Mrs. Melanie, there is no need to worry," the police truck assured the lavender truck. "We will do the best we can to find her. For now, I think it's best if you watch over your grandson to make sure he stays put,"

"Stay... put?" Crusher glanced over at his grandmother, confused. "Grammy, what does he mean?"

"Oh, Crushy," Melanie sighed and took the child into her arms. "It's your mother. She was kidnapped!"

"Kidnapped?!" Crusher's eyes widened. "But why?! Who take Mama away?!"

"Don't worry, kiddo," the police truck patted his head assuringly. "We'll find your Mama and bring her back. Promise,"

"O-Okay," Crusher sniffled as began to cry. "G-Grammy, c-can I go to Pickle's place? I... I wanna play with him,"

"Of course, baby boy," Melanie nodded and gently took the other inside. "Let me call his parents first to tell them, okay?"
