chapter 1 the wild thing

  ''It is only a party. What are you worried about?"Jasmen said as they walked down the halls.

  ''I don't know, with my mom is going out of town like always, it just..." Kat stopped walking. She always had fun at parties. She always had fun with her friends, it just now, this time, she had a strong feeling that something was going to happen. She did not know how to describe it. 

  "What happened to living, to having fun! It is our last year in this dreadful place!" Jasmen was always wearing something dark. She loved the mystery's, and the triller of being free.

  "I guess it won't kill us as long as it don't get to out of controls like the last few"

  "That's what you say all the time!"

  "I mean it tho! K."

  "K. Always and forever"

  "Forever and always"

Kat and Jasmen had been friends since  first grade, when they were 8, they started saying "forever and always",and "always and forever". Always was a big word for the both of them but they continued to use it.

They started walking to their locked which was always next to each other.

  "Hey y'all" Skyler LeeAnn Tillman walked up behind them just as the got to their lockers. Skyler was  from Texas. She had the acsent to provide it. She move here on her ninth grade year.  Everyone loved her. She was popular because of Kat  and Jasmen . Kat was a the type to put all the mean girls in their place! She did not believe in putting others down when everyone had flaws. Her daddy was a kind man, before he died a terrible death.

  "Oh, Hey. I thought you were going back to Texas this weekend to see you old friends" Jasmin said.

  " Nope.I rather party!" Skyler sounded as if she was drunk.

  "Well slow down your horses! The party is tomorrow" Kate said!

  "Well what do you say about ditching this place cause it is a Friday and the day is still young"

  "We should take her home before she gets wrote up or worse!" Jasmen said quietly.

Just as Jasmen said that, Nick walked up and Skyler kissed him! Nick and Skyler had been talking and flirting for over a month but was never an item.  Skyler was definitely Drunk with a capital D! Nick did not pull away he just stayed there, on the side of the hall, making out with Skyler! When they finally stoped, Kat and Jasmen stood there all astonished at the sight. It happened to fast for anyone to comprehend!  Kate kicked Jasmen softly, she was signing that they should give them a moment!

As Skyler and Nick talked, Kat and Jasmen  whispered quietly! They tried to listen to the gabering of the dramatic issues! They could not help but wonder what their exact words were! About five minutes later, Nick walked away and at that time Jasmen was playing anger birds, while Kat was reading a book on wattpad! It took Kat a minute to realize that Skyler's conversation with Nick was done. Skyler was standing completely still, curling her blonde hair! She was as red as a fire truck!  Kat pushed Jasmine. As Kat and Jasmen stood up, Skyler walked slowly towards them. The three of them walked towards the blue doors.

A Skyler would say is, "it was meant to be!" And "it finally happened!". Kat finally got what Skyler had meant by that. Skyler was now officially His GIRLFRIEND! Since Kat's mom was not home, they went there!

The house was 3 stories high. With a locked, black steel fence around the prehemises. Kat's mom was a famous actor! The woman was always gone on set and was never home! Kat did not mind, she loved that her mom made something out of herself after her dad died!  She did not mind if her mom was a cook or a waitress! She loved her mom no matter what. Kat kinda liked the whole ''mom not home" thing. Sheliked not having a controlling parent, who was always in her business! Kat was ok, that's what mattered. Yes, Kat sometimes wished she was around more, that her dad was alive, that he was there, that ...... She was not alone! Kat had friends, but she was alone in that big, old house with nobody to boss her around, nobody to talk to, nobody to kiss her goodnight! She was alone in he own way!

  "Let's lay her on the couch" Kat said to Jasmen as they walked through the giant doors. Skyler was half way passed out in their arms as they walked in.

"Ok. Don't hit her head on the arm rest though. That would hurt!"

Kat and Jasmen set her down slowly. Kat proper Skyler's legs up on the opposite end of the black love seat. As they took a good look at Skyler they began giggling!
