"Thank you for the past three years!!" Oikawa shouted out, making the teammates start to cry. Everyone knew the third years were going to graduate and they all would miss them. Sometimes it's better portrayed as fate that not all things last forever.

Eventually everyone had finished cleaning up and saying their goodbyes. Oikawa stayed behind to say his own goodbye to the gym, and the school he had some of his best years in.
Iwaizumi had noticed him and decided to follow. He didn't intend on looking like a stalker but he honestly did.
He continued to walk up behind oikawa and put his hand on his shoulder.
"aH-" oikawa shrieked with a horrible voice crack and looked behind him, "Iwa you scared the living shit out of me!"
The shorter male laughed and smiled. "Sorry I didn't know you were into meditation." Soon after Tooru laughed a little as well.

"You know, I'm really going to miss this place." Tooru walked around the gym and into the locker room. Unintentionally, he stayed close to Hajime, brushing his arm against the other's.
"We'll all miss it, Oikawa." Iwa shrugged and looked at Oikawa, soon making eye contact with him. They felt a spark, it wasn't like a fire cracker, or the flame a match let off, it was more then that. It felt magical.
They slowly leaned in, millimeters apart. Their lips were just nearly touching together. They stayed like this for a few seconds, taking in each other's aroma. Everything felt so still in that moment.
Oikawa then closed the gap between them.

"AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!" The tv shouted and startled Tooru awake unwillingly.
He groaned and stretched out his arms.
"I've lived here 3 years and I still can't get a night of restful sleep. How absurd." A loud sigh came from him and he climbed off of his couch to walk to his kitchen. When he reached his kitchen he heard a weird beeping noise from outside. It sounded like one of those wheel chairs in Wall-Mart some people used.

He finished drinking his coffee and opened his kitchen window. The tall, brown haired male looked out his window and saw a moving truck. Tooru knew Mrs. and Mr. Park were moving soon but he didn't think it was this soon. A shuffled sound of him walking back to his couch could be heard. When he had sat down, a fluffy little ball walked around the corner of his hallway and walked towards him. It was a feline, orange with white stripes placed randomly down it's back and legs. This fluff ball of a creature waddled itself to Oikawa and climbed into his lap.

"hey buddy, haven't seen you in a while." He paused, thinking he heard something outside, but decided to continue.

"Y'know... Sometimes i wish i would play with you more, or got you another little kitty friend. You always seem so lonely and i don't want that for you. So what do you say, wanna go get yourself a friend later?" He looked down at the feline, who was just staring at him mindlessly.

"I'll take that as a yes."

Later that afternoon Oikawa Tooru set up an appointment for a meet and greet for him and his cat. The desk lady said they could come in tomorrow at 11:30am. It was settled, the cat with no actual name, and who was taken in from the streets, will soon have a little kitty friend. The tall male was reading a news article on his phone in the kitchen when he heard knocking on his door. He got up and walked over to his front door, which was a ways from the kitchen in his house. Once he was there, he opened the door to find a just barely shorter male with spiky hair looking down to his feet.

"Hello, sorry to disturb you at this hour, but I'm your new neighbor. Iwaizumi Hajime." He looked up to see a taller, more thin, brown haired man looking down at him with wide, shocked eyes. Hajime paused, very much as well surprised. In his mind, he would have never thought he'd move next door to his childhood best friend and former lover.

"..Oikawa?"

Tooru squinted his eyebrows. "Iwa?!" Oikawa's heart swarmed with butterflies. He was so unbelievably happy to be reunited with the one person he missed the most.

"Oh my god! Oikawa! Hi! I never thought i'd see you again! Theres so much i need to tell you-"

Iwaizumi was cut off by a female walking up to him. "Hajime, hunny? Where did you put the box's with the glass cups in them?" She noticed Iwaizumi was talking to a unfamiliar male and smiled. "Hi! You must be our neighbor! I'm Hajime's girlfriend, Quinn."

"oh, right, I'm Oikawa Tooru." His heart shattered into a million pieces. Why was he upset though? Its been 15 years since he left for collage, so of course he was going to have a girlfriend.

"Well it's nice to meet you Oikawa!"

"yeah, nice to meet you aswell."

The fluff ball came to the front of the house and started rubbing itself on Tooru's leg.

"Oh hey Kitty," Oikawa said, and picked the cat up not noticing Iwa admiring it.

"You'r cats adorable! Can i pet it?" The spiky haired male had his eyes glued onto the cat in his arms. Tooru laughed and nodded his head. The female started walking off, forgetting to ever get the response out of iwa.

Iwaizumi felt weird, randomly reuniting with his best friend and acting completely normal. He had played this moment over and over in his head, it was nothing like this. It was imagined as if it was they last time they'd ever see each other.
