Imagine you and Hunter have been dating for four years and they have been the best four years of your life. Tomorrow is your birthday and you are super excited but Hunter seems to be acting a little...strange and he seems more nervous than usual and you got to admit it's scaring you.
Your P.O.V
"Are you sure everything is ok because you seem more nervous than usual" you ask
"Yes, I promise everything is fine Y/N" Hunter says
"Ok" you say knowing sooner or later he is going to tell you what's wrong
You two sit on the couch in an awkward silence while watching Hunter's favorite show "Top Gear". After a while your eyelids start to get heavy but you try your hardest to stay awake.
"Getting sleepy" Hunter asks
"No" you say while yawning
"Sure your not" Hunter says while laughing
"Well, I guess I am a little tired" you say while yawning once again
"A little" hunter says
"Ok a lot,can you sing to me please" you ask
"I don't know,can I sing to you" Hunter says while laughing
"Hunterrrr" you say
"Alright,alright i'm just kidding" Hunter says
Hunter starts to sing "wanted" to you and you slowly began to fall asleep. The one thing you love most of all about falling asleep is doing it in your loving boyfriend's arms.
Hunters P.O.V
She keeps asking me if anything is wrong and why i'm so nervous. I tell her i'm fine and nothing is wrong. When the truth is I'm nervous as hell. Why you ask? because I have a life changing question I need to ask her. I have the perfect "gift' picked out for her. I knew when I first laid eyes on her she was the one. The way her brown hair blows in the wind,the way her eyes sparkle when she's happy. Everything about her is perfect and I need-no want to make her mine forever.
*The next morning*
Your P.O.V
You wake up in the bed that you and Hunter share. You figure Hunter brought you up after you fell asleep on the couch last night. You roll over and see Hunter isn't there beside you but there is a sticky note on his pillow. You are silently hoping that he didn't go to the studio. Normally you wouldn't mind but today is your birthday. You sit up and pull the note off your pillow. It reads:
"Good morning beautiful, I got a call from the guys early this morning to finish a new song we are working on. I understand it's your birthday and I'm sorry I had to come to the studio but I promise we are going to celebrate and since it is your birthday you get to choose where you want to have lunch and dinner.Just text me when you've made up your mind. I probably won't get out of the studio until 5:30.
