LYNN finished her drink and threw it away, walking outside on the sidewalk. she looked over at the small square with the single basketball hoop. she walked over to the fence and leaned against it. "hey lincoln." she said to the man. he turned around and smiled softly. "hey! you're back. where'd you go?" he asked her. "oh you know.. vacation." she smiled slightly. over the little time lincoln had been at the prison, before lynn went on her vacation, she had grown close to the man. she believed he was innocent, and she has wished things were different.

"still with that carlos guy?" linc asked. lynn shook her head, "nah. it didn't work out." she replied, feeling a pang in her chest after hearing the name. he nodded, "how have you been?" she asked him. "as fine as i could be in here." he said. "right, sorry." she laughed softly. he laughed with her and looked around. she turned to see michael and fernando looking at them.

the guys nodded to lincoln and he nodded back. "you know them?" evelynn asked. he nodded, "my brother and his celly." he said. "michael's your brother?" she asked, shocked. he nodded with a slight laugh. "yeah, crazy huh." he joked. she nodded. "well i didn't expect that. does he know you're innocent too?" she asked. "yeah, that's why he's here." he said. "what?" she asked, but before he could reply, a guard walked over to them. "ms. pope the warden would like to see you."

"see ya." she said and walked away, looking at scofield and sucre, waving as well. michael smiled slightly and waved back. "you like her." sucre said. "what?" michael asked. "i know you do. i just know papi. i have those senses." he said. michael shook his head and laughed, "whatever you say sucre." he replied.inside, evelynn walked to her father's office. "what's up?" she asked him. "what are you doing talking to lincoln burrows?" he asked her. "dad. i was behind a fence. he can't do anything, plus you act like he would do anything. he hasn't done shit since he's been in here." she said. he sighed but nodded, "i know, i'm just worried about you." he explained. "don't worry. i wouldn't actively talk to anyone sketchy. michael, lincoln, and sucre are the only exceptions." i said. he rolled his eyes, "okay lynn." she quickly hugged him.

evelynn made her way out of the warden's office and started walking back to the cell block. she just found herself going there all the time. on her way she passed the infirmary, and saw sara. she decided to walk in and say hi. "hey sara." she said but paused when she noticed her awfully close with another inmate. "oh shit. sorry about that," she began walking out but sara stopped her, "don't worry just giving mr. scofield here his insulin shot." sara cleared her throat and moved away from michael. "just coming to say hi, but we can chat another time. bye." lynn quickly said and walked out of the room.
